My first dose of Reta was about 4 weeks ago like I’ve mentioned in other posts. The day after I pinned I felt like I had an infection in my gums, I also had severe pain in my mouth and went to a dentist. They did a cleaning and gave me some mouthwash. The more I read on this forum the less I believe it was a coincidence and believe it might have been an endotoxin. The “supplier” is someone I’ve known for a while and does a lot of gear. I paid 150 for 20mg and that made me realize I should do my homework. I found this community and I know I can’t discuss certain things yet, I can ask if you all have tested your shipments and to what lengths? If not, are you filtering? Please teach me. I’m willing to learn.

dam, your supplier straight robbed you. sorry to hear that.

Filtering won't touch endotoxins.

From what I’ve read, filtering doesn’t really remove endotoxins, just particles or bacteria.

Also, I’m not sure the dentist issue would be from endotoxins, usually that would cause more systemic symptoms rather than something localized like gums, but I could be wrong.

If you’re getting into grey, I’d really take it slow and spend some time reading through the forum first. There’s a lot of useful info here that can help you avoid mistakes.

And honestly, you’re doing the right thing by asking questions, everyone starts somewhere, and this is exactly how you learn 🙂

have you changed anything else in your "legit" medicinal line up? my doc changed my bp med and w/in a couple days I could barely touch my gums let alone chew. turns out it was gingival hyperplasia, like an overgrowth, swelling, sometimes bleeding of gums. it took it a while to subside once I stopped the med, but maaann, may I never again.

so if nothing else has changed, stop the reta. hell, I'd stop the reta anyway bc I'm sure that bp med isn't the only thing in the world that causes that condition.

I don't remember reading anywhere of someone having a mouth issue after dosing Reta. I can certainly understand why you might be reluctant to inject again, but if you do, consider using 1/2 or even 1/4 of the dose you did the first time. A one-time issue is just that. If it happens again (and with a small dose, hopefully much less extreme) that's a pattern.

You probably need to read more and post less. You might not be built for this.

You probably shouldn't attempt to help newb's. You might not be built for this.

Seriously, dude. Guy came here looking for help. In what way do you think your post is helpful? Maryland, Man.

Yeah I’m just gonna disagree with this.

I think endotoxin is not a possible cause for those symptoms, the symptoms do not make sense for endotoxin, or the timing, which would be immediate. If endotoxin was present in high amounts it would cause fever and general unwellness, not localised symptoms.

The most likely explanation by far is coincidence, as in the reta had nothing to do with it at all. I would rate this as 95-99% the most likely.

Next most likely is that it caused a bit of a dryer mouth as a drug side effect or because you drank less fluid from it increasing your chances of getting gingivitis.

Some sort of localised immune reaction to reta or benzyl alcohol is not theoretically impossible but really very very unlikely. like 1 in 10000.

So if the reta was responsible it was the drug, not contamination. Most likely when or if you restart it you will not have further problems, but if you do and it is a new batch of reta, then you will know for sure. I would focus on fluid intake and oral hygeine.

We have all been rob at our first purchase, I think 😆 Its the process! I will not be anymore because of this forum! Thank all of you!🧘‍♀️

Only way to find out if its a endotoxin issue is testing. You cannot just guess this. Besided that you cannot filter out endotoxins. They are way too small to filter out.

I’m happy with my research and progress so far. It was a full on infection and I likened it to the results someon

Pretty common price point for reta 20? Not sure how that's robbery. Unless that's what they paid for one vial
thats what i assumed the way it was written "$150 for 20mg" and not "a 20mg kit" but i could just be misinterpreting it. plus idk what local supplier would be selling kits for rough importer pricing when he could be selling the singles for the same price and no one would bat an eye. maybe @biobob can enlighten us

Before I found this place I had paid $110 for a single R10 and $240 for a single R30.
