Hello all,

Still new here and learning tons. I have been searching around for the answers to some questions I have and can't seem to readily find them. Either my Google-fu isn't strong enough or there isn't a bunch of threads talking about it. Either way, I am going to keep looking, but if those of you in the know would like to help a fellow human out and answer any of them, it would be greatly appreciated.

- I see that some peptides need/benefit from the addition of AA as a buffer. From what I have read, you can use "Glacial" because of its purity, but I only find it from chemistry houses and not in sealed sterilized containers. Is this what you all use or am I missing something?

- I am trying to figure out the appeal of buying vials full of GLP1s that are north of 60mg. AFAIK, the max dosage on any of the GLPs is 15mg/wk. That would put you roughly at 60mg/mo. So why buy vials that have more then that? Are you all pinning more than the recommended max dose? Splitting the vials amongst a few people? Or do you all have some extra preservation method I don't know about yet to make the vial last longer?

I will post more questions as they arise. Thank you all.

For Tirzepatide you can buy a larger mg vial, reconstitute and filter into several smaller vials, freeze the ones you are not using and thaw as needed. The larger vials usually, but not always, have the lowest price per mg.

Did you use this forum's own search function (the magnifying glass icon)?

Here's the result of a simple search for "bac days", as an example:

Yes I did. And I read the threads that seem most relevant to the subject. They however still did not answer my question. Like your example of searching for BAC water comes up with a fantastic thread of people sharing their experience of using a single vial of bac water for extended periods of time to reconstitute multiple vials of peptides. But it does not have in there (as far as I saw) anyone stating that they would recon a large dosage vial of peps and use it slowly over a long period of time. Hence me asking about that.

Many households have 2+ on a GLP1. Larger MG drastically reduces the price. Now, if it is one person at a low does a 40mg vial would be idiotic to purchase but as you hinted, a 10mg would make more sense. Also, many will say a vial of reta, for example, can last 10+ weeks not the suggested 4.

The short story is

Many people here consider 90 days the max to use a refrigerated vial of (nearly) any peptide, including all the GLP ones, from the time of reconstitution ... assuming proper alcohol-swabbing before every puncture.

A few people, including me, will recon many vials of tirzepatide at once, and freeze the inactive ones. This effectively stops the clock.

I'll also freeze an open vial of bac for multiple thaws at recon time. This has less support from the community, but I'll continue doing so I hear a reason that seems rational.

As always, you need to find your personal comfort zone along each risk continuum. Or default to "official" guidelines if you choose.

I'm all Reta, and my wife is on it too. I love the bigger vials. I have 24mg, a crap load load of 30 and 50mg, a bunch 60mg kits. Currently waiting on more from GB, including 140mg kit. We're currently doing 8mg. I just mix 3ml BAC and adjust the pin amounts. The R140, I think I'll reconstitute with 6ml BAC in a 10ml vial and we'll share that one. In other words, I just mixed 2 R50 (actually 56mg with the overfill) with 3ml BAC and will pin 4.2mg (8MG Dose). That's 7 doses/a vial which is 7 weeks. No problem. 90 days/3months will be my max usage on a vial too.
