Phenol vs BAC

I just use a paper towel on my countertop after a quick Lysol wipe lol. But I used to have a laminar flow hood for my mycology hobby. Buying/building a small one could be a feasible option for people worried about contamination.

Thinking about what you said more, a UV light might be useful to shine across the top of the workspace, just above working level, to try and kill all the DNA and RNA that might fall onto our clean things. We’d have to protect the vial contents and ourselves though.

I’m hoping the tirz eliminates my need to start cpap. But it I do, I’m going for the motel water with a sense of destiny,
Just start the CPAP, assuming it's not an affordability issue. The difference is night and day and sleep apnea isn't a binary yes or no condition. It often gets better with weight loss, but it's not a switch that is flipped overnight and once you feel the different CPAP makes you likely won't give it up until you're confident that you can go a full night without a significant number of apneas.

One can pick of a reasonably priced pulse oximeter that logs data overnight as a simple home check to assess not just how bad the need is but also how much things are improved by treatment to really hone in treatment levels.

That’s pretty solid advice, thank you for taking the time to write out that nice explanation.

The situation is that on one test I’m marginal (a few seconds a few times) and another test I’m negative. Insurance coverage is not worth any $ savings anyway, and I’m worried I’m just hard to diagnose. I keep paying for tests…, I had NO IDEA you could just order an all night monitor that seems to do the exact same thing and you can recharge and monitor every night for a fraction of the price of one official test.

Thank you for this most excellent suggestion.

Do you have a model pulse of you know of? I saw the EMAY sleepO2 wrist recording continuous pulse ox on Amazon https://a.co/d/2gxzt10

Or for that matter a cpap if I’m just going down that route on my own here. Grey Cpap lol.

I hate to admit it. And I really do get fed up with gadgets. But that goddamb cpap is a game changer. I really don't know if I need it anymore, but I'm essentially hooked.

Sorry for the Off-topic 😇

It's been a while since I shopped for them, but the main thing was to look for something comfortable enough where you can wear it all night. I started with one of those ones you clip on your finger and realized that although I'd eventually fall asleep with it on, it was easy to knock off and just wasn't worth settling for. I'd say look for something that goes around a finger and read reviews in regards to comfort.

If you decide to go gray for CPAP, one could get their own machine second-hand. There are internet forums you could navigate to figure it all out. You may find yourself owning a Resmed S10 Autoset, figuring out how to size masks and figuring out how to use OSCAR before you know it. I hear dot med dot net is a decent place to find cheap second-hand medical equipment of questionable origins, if one were so inclined...

Blown away again by the depth of valuable advice. Thank you so much for introducing me to another whole area of knowledge, searchable keywords, and ways to proceed 💕. Looking up OSCAR right now.

Go, DIY, for access to treatments.

And community😍

I really appreciate this input. Turns out people’s experiences make a whole lot more impression on me than simple data, even though I’m all for data. It’s too easy for me to think it doesn’t apply to me or I’m the exception when it’s not personal.
