Peptides vs Testosterone vs ?

Glad you guys are discussing oxandrolone. Let me mention my favorite study of it.

FIVE-YEAR OUTCOMES AFTER LONG-TERM OXANDROLONE ADMINISTRATION IN SEVERELY BURNED CHILDREN: A RANDOMIZED CLINICAL TRIAL - PMC

Administration of oxandrolone, a non-aromatizable testosterone analog, to children for 12 months following severe burn injury has been shown to improve height, increase bone mineral content (BMC), reduce cardiac work, and augment muscle strength. ...

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

This study gave burned kids under 18 oxandrolone for 1 year at .1mg / kg twice daily. Study found they had denser, stronger bones, no negatives were found on their natural testosterone levels and they grew lean body mass (and grew taller but it won't affect adults). I plan to follow the same at a slightly less dose around 15mg a day (goal weight is 180 so .2mg / kg would be 16mg and I can't get that accurate of a dose so I'll just stick with 15mg to not risk suppression and keep it easy) for a very long time.

Haven't thoroughly looked at that study in a while so correct me if I'm wrong or missed anything.

Such a great thread deserves to be resurrected. These are my fellow Varriors who paved the road for their descendants to follow. This thread has the highest testosterone I have seen here. I began viewing this with popcorn in hand. A few posts in, the popcorn vanished and I found myself holding a slab of beef. I cope with muscle loss using Anavar, BPC, TB500, IGF-1 DES.

I tried some reta at 165 to lose a bit of belly fat. got down to 155 and peeled but my lifts fell off a cliff.

I stopped reta because of that then decided i would go on anabolics.

Another one.
Again? Reading allergy hives sprang out? Antihistamines may work. I assure you, nobody compels you to read every post. Oh, and there's an ignore option too.. Stay happy, hearty, and healthy.

At the risk of reviving an old thread I wanted to add a follow up to my TRT situation. It could help others here. With symptoms of low T I contacted an online TRT company. I got labs done to get a baseline and found out I am a genetic freak walking around making 1071 ng/dL without any special effort. I mean I lost most of the weight and am healthy, good sleep. But this is apparently like unicorn level testosterone. I feel like I win the lottery! 🙂

Test your testosterone before using anything that affects it folks! If I took testosterone blindly I would in the long run only tank my production to some degree.
Thats amazing! Good genetics right there. This is one of the reasons trt advice is all over the place though in my experience. Plenty of people saying just work hard and eat right, arent experiencing life with 250 ng/dl. Of course those with naturally high levels feel great, pack on muscle, etc. The lab work is step one to see where you are at naturally, but there are so many positives to going from sub 300 to ~1000 its pretty insane. Energy, mental clarity, confidence, recovery, its like subscribing to the premium tier of manhood.

I agree with most of what Bacchus has stated as well, theres a lot of fear mongering and its not black and white. Youre not permanently destroying your body and putting your health at grave risk by getting your test at an optimal level. Its not that there is no risk, but a holistic approach to managing your hormones and overall health and wellbeing can have you feeling your best and keep your body functioning at maximum efficiency.

This is the GOAT & BOAT comment here. That's it... It's official! Flawless victory!

Be careful with testosterone, it's very easy to take too much of it, get a weird shaped body, and have a whole host of other negative side effects.

It's a bit of a meme, people think more testosterone means "more manly" but hormones need to be in a good balance to work well. You should only take it if you know you definitely have a significant deficit. There's some people who's bodies produce a lot more testosterone and they use it, but some people get by on less, and adding more just messes with things in bad ways since your body isn't set up to utilize that extra stuff in a productive way.

You should be safe if you have blood tests showing them still in normal ranges, but take note of how you feel and any effects you might get around your blood test, and you can extrapolate over time the best level for you.
