I'm gonna jump in here, if you find a good Chiropractor then stick with them and If they're not messing with your neck, I respectfully say keep it that way! I had a great Chiropractor for 7 years, adjusted my neck as well. Then he moved and I tried 4 more next 3 years then gave up. I lasted a couple years, till my neck and feet were tingling one dat and I found a highly rated one. Fourth visit on the neck, messed up my jaw, which added to my headaches and I couldn't talk and had TMJ physical therapy for 4 weeks. I got the X-ray on my dental records where my jaw moved a little. I know we have similar neck problems and I think better to leave it alone. If you had minor neck issues, maybe ok, but as we progress and neck gets worse. Nope.
I was honestly SO nervous to see a chiropractor. I have heard horror stories when it comes to the neck. I guess my chiro is not your “typical” chiropractor as he is also physio trained. So he doesn’t jump to “let’s crack all the bones!” lol.

So far, I like him. I’m not nervous anymore. We will see how it goes.

You need to spend some time laying flat on your ass on hard ground, not the bed or the couch. As far as drugs go funnily enough the ones that cause you to weigh less and therefore put less pressure on your back are probably your best bet.
This, after loosing 50 lbs 90% of my daily back pain has gone away.

I've lived with a herniated disc for twenty years and it was pretty bad when it first happened as I experienced paralysis and had to undergo intense physical therapy. Like you, exercise made it better though it sounds counterintuitive. What I found very helpful was doing inversions to help get the pressure off the disc and also realign things. Now I'm quite strong with a lot more muscle mass compared to before, which allows me to live more or so like a normal person without thinking about it much.
Also dealing with a separate healing issue on my foot from an ingrown infection that’s been lingering for years, hasnt healer properly because I can’t really find time off work. Wondering if BPC could help with that too since it seems to have strong wound healing properties beyond just musculoskeletal stuff.

Hopefully others can chime in as I've never tried to heal an infection with BPC. I've never noticed any significant benefits from using BPC but I'm still on it because of FOMO. KPV as well.

Glutathione, on the other hand, has done wonders for me. I dropped the bar on my thigh a few weeks ago, and my leg was swollen and bruised and just would not heal at all. It was extremely inflamed and painful. I started Glutathione shots a few days ago and my leg's almost completely healed now - I can't believe it even as I say it. I suspect it's reduced the inflammation on my leg, but the change was quite dramatic.

So much info here! I can’t get to everyone but thank you all so much! It does seem like there is no magic cure to this and peptides would just be one part of the solution.

I did a teladoc visit and the Dr prescribed a steroid, methyl prednisone. He said he’d prescribe a muscle relaxer but isn’t allowed to over the phone.

I’ll probably just take it easy for a little and start PT/chiro after things settle down.

Marijuana gummies (from a dispensary) work just as well for me as a muscle relaxer. But can't drive on gummies at all.

I asked the same question here, and got all the same advice. Lots of knowledgeable people here. 😊

I have bulging discs at C 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7.

Central disc protrusion indenting the thecal sac at C4-5, and annular tear at C 5-6. This was imaging from an MRI done in 2024, things have gotten worse since then.

I have BPC-157 and KPV on the way, to add to my current treatment plan. I do physio and chiro 2x a week, and take a non-opioid pain medication.

I hope you can find some relief!
Wow that sounds tough. Did you ever consider surgery? I’m not even sure how much surgeries can help for backs.

I hope you find relief too!

Thanks! Tbh I’m not a big fan of edibles, or weed in general. I wouldn’t mind a norco though but hard to get prescribed. Driving is out of the question right now anyways though.

Another option would be the GH peptides.

Part of the reason KPV is popular is the idea of relief sooner than later.

One anecdote for BPC+TB:

BTW, an inversion table was recommended by a neurosurgeon years ago. I should use it more since I usually go months at a time without using it.
I had a bulging disk. Did all the PT. Inversion table was great for pain relief when I first started. It makes a difference and I have to believe it helps with the healing as it takes pressure off the spine. Good luck. Let me know if you want advice on what brand or tabe to buy? Good luck

That Glutathione experience is insane, dropping a bar on your thigh and having it almost fully heal in just a few days is wild. That’s actually really helpful to hear because I’ve been mainly focused on BPC and KPV but never seriously considered Glutathione.

The inflammation and swelling has been the biggest issue. Been relying on the ER to drain the toe but I’m finally going to get proper medical attention for it when i have the time. Might have to add Glutathione into the mix based on your experience.

The pain clinics here in Arizona are fairly liberal, as long as you take a urine test. I have never had to go, but they are the best option.

As a reminder, one can take up to 3,000 mg of Tylenol a day (the conservative maximum). Up to 1,000 mg every 6 hours. Oral NAC or injecting glutathione can support the liver, if concerned.

My favorite non-opiod cocktail that was once prescribed for sciatic pain: meloxicam, low-dose gabapentin, and low-dose Cymbalta. Of course, you can't take meloxicam, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs while on prednisone or other corticosteroids.

That sounds really painful and frustration; I hope you get the attention you need and deserve.

There seems to be a decent amount of study on glutathione's would healing capabilities actually. I've read a study on the efficacy of glutathione mesotherapy in burns, and glutathione surprisingly accelerated the healing process. I'm thinking of trying local injections on my thigh this week, as I've only been doing IM glute injections.

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, but u should look into Cartalax, it's supposed to regrow cartilage. If u have any issues with arthritis, RETA is supposed to help to reduce bone spurs and reduce arthritic bone. Both are supposed to help to reduce inflammation.

That's very helpful; thank you. I was considering Cartalax at one point but completely forgot about it. I will bump it up on my infinitely growing buy list.

I had a back issue that I thought was a slipped disk, but it wasn’t. Went to the doctor and then physical therapy. It look a while as it was in my lumbar, and my core was weakened by overweight. Physical therapy worked wonders, but it did take a couple months to get better.

Buy the book Back Mechanic. It’s a bit repetitive but it has perfect advice.
