This is my 8th injection subq of Semaglutide. This is the first time, however, I've experienced any pain. I put it in my belly after rotating weekly shots on the opposite side of my belly button and each outter thigh. I noticed slight soreness yesterday, but it's sore and slightly red today. I think about how I'm sore after getting a shot at the doc and I can reason with that. But not having this happened from my own shots in the past 7 weeks has me a bit nervous.

Should I be worried?

Are you staying at least two inches away from the navel? Inside that circle is known for pain; not sure about subsequent ISR.

Also, if you swab your skin with alcohol before injecting, allow it to dry for 30-60 seconds before pinning.

Oh I would say I was right at 2" from navel; I'll move it out further next time. (Yes I did swab.)

Thank you!

I have seen this from time to time, maybe hit a nerve, injected too quick or who knows. If once in a great while I personally am not worried. Agree with moving farther away from belly button area.
