Noob reconstitution question

Just about to start my first batch. Just want to check my calculations are correct, I’ve got 10mg vials, and 1ml syringes.

If I add 1ml BAC to my vial (100 units on the syringe) then 10 units on my syringe would be a 1mg shot?

Sorry if it’s a stupid question but we all need to start somewhere!

yes, your calculation is correct. 10 Units or 0,10 ML would be 1MG.

You're correct. You can buy 3ml syringes with a larger gauge needle that makes it easier.

You are correct. Once you up your dosage there are plenty of peptide calculators on line that are really easy to use

I use a larger gauge needle to reconstitute so once you move up on your dosage it makes it easier to add the bac solution

Yes. Also try .3ml syringes with a nice 1/4 inch needle

How do you know you've got 10mg vials?

Can be an important piece of info to know... 10% and more is not uncommon... Larger the gauge number the thinner the needle..

10mg vials are never exactly 10mg, usually slightly more. Check the COC for the mass of a similar vial from the same batch.

Another point is adding anything to 1ml of H2O will increase the volume. This effect is slight when adding 10mg to 1ml, but is mesureable when disolving bigger vials. I disolve the vial in water and measure the volume and add or q.s. (quantum stasis) to reach the desired volume for the most accurate calculation. This is what a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing has thought me.

In the context of "batch" processing and Latin pharmacy terms, the Latin term quantum satis (often abbreviated as q.s. or qs ), which is used on prescriptions and batch records

I use 23 ga 3ml needles for reconstitution, 31 ga (5/16mm) for pinning, and I never eat yellow snow.

Then learn the actual mg of your vials. +30% has been found in testing. It's rarely that much, but often overfilled enough to adjust.

Reverse calculator is your best friend. Math is everyone's worst enemy. Don't do it.

Looking into my recon needles right now. Any advice? I'm sure the ones for the research would do okay, but a larger gauge with longer needle seems to be the best choice, but just wanted to ask if there's a proven good recon needle choice out there already

Why the bigger needles for recon? Just to speed up the process ? Could i not use the 30g 5/16 need i plan on pinning with to recon a rt10 vial with 1ml of bac water ? Sorry if thats a no brainer im new and trying to learn
