I'm still on the fence. Between me and my husband, I'm sure it will get some use. I just don't want to pull the trigger until I've done more research. I've found several used ones on FB Marketplace, but I have no idea what I'm even looking at. I have lots and lots of research to do. Here I go down the rabbit hole! 😆
with in that 30 min of our conversation I 3D printed this out in 1 color, nothing fancy

Oh wow! That's fast.
Just keep an eye on the pricing. You never know when a Amazon sale will hit, Like supper bowl or a holiday deal.. I personalty LOVE my kobra S1 with 4 color options.

Most public libraries have 3d printers these days, prints are cheap. I know most people haven't even ventured inside a library but they still exist.

It's been so damn long since I set foot in a library that my overdue books are still checked out from the Pompeii branch

This is new information to me. I never would have thought to check a library for a 3D printer.

Yeah they do a really poor job marketing all the services that are available. Our tax dollars at work.

No sarcasm though libraries are money well spent.

I love our library, but it has been many many years since I've been there. I'll be giving them a call when I get to work. Thanks for the great suggestion! I did find out that my son-in-law has one that he said we could play around with for a bit. Its about 5-6 years old though.

I was going to say maybe just start asking your friends you never know.. all you need is the .stl file and they can use there slicer (software for the 3D printer) they like and then print.

I was just reading through this and thought. Let’s see if MakerWorld has this and looked for the file. Started reading more of the forum and you had already posted it. 🤣 Gotta love 3D printing.
