Eli-Lilly calls retatrutide "a molecule"? It's like they don't even know what they're creating and testing. A lot of the rest of that article reads like warnings against marijuana back in the 60's.
May have missed the part where they are trying to argue in court that GLP1 peptides are "molecules" and hence its illegal for compounding pharmacy's to make due to the shortages. It's something to do with the changing the drugs categorization, which would then change the protection under the law.

When that seemed to have failed, they released single vials for $600 each, convinced or bribed the FDA in declaring the shortage is over, hence making compounding illegal.

Reta and other peptides are being sold on Ebay.
I just went and checked that out. This description for a kit of Reta 20mg on eBay is unreal:

The Reta 20mg Lyophilized Powder is a neutral-flavored powdered supplement that provides a concentrated dosage of 20mg per serving. This powder can be easily mixed into beverages or snacks for convenient consumption. With a supply lasting up to 1 month, this product offers a convenient and flexible option for individuals looking to incorporate a potent supplement into their daily routine.

Just what in the world did I just read? Who in their goddamn mind would ever buy this?

Don't these people worry they will get dinged at some point... seems risky to me to use a platform that has all your personal data?!?

I'm sure they will, and another will replace them just as fast.

Our data isn't as personal as we would like it to be unfortunately.

Yeah but……Did you see the nice box and the pre loaded pen they got!!! So fancy!! 🤣

What annoyed me was the constant use of the word “fake”

Is a knock off gucci purse still a functional purse? Is it a fake purse? Well yes because i thought I was buying a purse and I got sent a potato. Can’t keep my stuff in a potato!!

Ok so now say I buy a certain antihistamine for hayfever, certrazine, it’s £1 in a supermarket or I can buy name brand Claritin for £6 it’s the same thing in the box. Same in that it has the same ACTIVE ingredient more importantly. I bought the generic not the brand. The first one isn’t fake though.

They could have got it tested, and in these expose shows they normally do…. “ we had this tested at prestigious university [show science stuff] and This £600 medication contains only a sugar pill!!!! 💊😱🤯

Yet then didn’t do that for this …. Or if they did they wouldn’t say.

“ oh yeah we tested it and it was actually Reta” or even hey we tested it and it was sema in the pen

Another example of the sky is falling down type reporting!! Clutch those pearls!!!

I doubt Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace is too worried about putting strange substances in her body, and more importantly I doubt she would have heeded a z list “ celeb” warning ⚠️ not to buy stuff on TikTok and take it

Interesting news segment from the UK on reta.

She is a very low key TV personality/ influencer so I wouldn’t take much notice . The Reta market in the UK has been insane with one company overtaking with bully boy tactics selling pre filled pens . They have just been shut down .

Here is the link ……. https://www.bmj.com/content/391/bmj.r2250

Those fancy pens and official-looking boxes making us all look like peasants with our lyophilized powder in glass vials 🤣😂. Seriously though, Tiktok and influencers are largely to blame for all this unnecessary attention that's being directed toward the grey market.

Darwinism at work, and it is the dumb people that will get everything locked down. I constantly see people who don't have a clue about how to mix, starting dosage or how to properly titrate up.

I definitely wouldn't be buying pre mixed vials, no telling what kind of conditions they have been through. And much higher risk of contamination. Someone on facebook is dealing with a family member with sepsis. And convinced that these prepackaged shots are legitimate eli lily.
I read the article, she didn’t mix it’s a premixed pen containing 6x the dose and the sample she first used was fine.

That's why I said I wouldn't buy premixed. But fancy packaging is cheap compared to the markup. And dumb people think they are getting legit product.

Channel 4 have always been rather sensationalist. There are definitely very real dangers that come with the grey-market, but Channel 4 is more interested in moral panics.
