So I was looking into NAD+ recently for the energy boost benefits. I'm a full time university student and figured I could benefit greatly from that as my caffine consumption is getting out of hand. Furthermore, my memory in general is absolutely terrible. I find myself having a hard time paying attention even in normal social situations. Caffine helps but I figured the extra energy boost from NAD+ might too.

Then I stumbled onto Semax. I know its not directly an energy booster, it seems with its cognitive enhancments, it may be exactly what I was looking for. Furthermore, I found much more reports on Semax than I did on NAD+. Either way, I would be taking them subcutaneously as opposed to the nasal spray many use for Semax.

I wanted to ask the folks here if you have any experiance with NAD+ or Semax. Better yet, if you've taken both and can compare the two experiances.

A better option is go to your student health center and get the ADHD diagnosis. RX is going to help you far better than a peptide.

I can testify it’s life changing. I wish I would have known to do so for my BS rather than clawing and fighting my way through to graduate.

Somthing like that may help for sure. Unofortunately though, ADHD medications arn't an option for me. Its not too detrimental in all honesty, just very annoying haha. Either way, I appreciate the idea!

To answer your question: NAD+ is a nice energy lift but it doesn’t address my ADHD symptoms.
For me it helped my ADD.

I get very nice long lasting clean energy from NAD+ IM - like, you just feel really good about things along with nice cognitive improvements (motivation to use brain, interest, enthusiasm, focus, etc.) along with reduction in depressive symptoms.

So, that's my .02 cents 🙂

I thought all you young ones just take Adderall for that?

I believe NAD+ seriously helped my ADD, that mixed with a few runs of SS-31 and MOTS - honestly though, I'm not sure what it was but I've been lowering my Vyvanse script every two months to titrate off. I'm going to try Semax as well... I was just laid off this week, so maybe I'll raw dog my ADD meds and explore what pep helps more.

I have not yet tried Semax. (Kit is In freezer) but I just finished a 14 week protocol that includes NAD+ I noticed definite cognitive improvements. I summarized it in this link:

Mitochondria Repair

Next week I will be finishing a cycle of tesamorilin/ipmorelin which I am very happy with. My next journey might be to repair my mitochondria. I am in my early 60s so my guess is my mitochondria are in rough shape. I have a ton of questions about this subject. I am on high dose tirz...

Semax might help, but there is also NA Semax and Adamax. Semax might be too subtle in comparison to meds like Vyvanse and Adderall. I don't have ADHD, but my daughter is on Vyvanse and claimed she felt nothing on Semax. I have Adamax on order. Check it out.

isn't adamax classified as a designer drug

Experience has shown I like Adderall (among other things) a bit too much. Best I stear clear.
Understood. Have you trialed Vyvanse? It’s not a stimulant, not a Schedule II.

Wellbutrin can be used off-label for ADHD support. That can be stimulating though, depending. It’s not like Adderall-stimulating. It effects norepinephrine.

Just want to share what I know since we’re here to gather info.

I’ve got something going on with my dopamine that I haven’t figured out yet, maybe that’s part of my NAD+ reaction. (Not helping ADHD.) GLP-1s are not favorable.

Semax is on my short list, it needs to cycled off after a few weeks. Respectfully if RS can’t halt as needed during planned trials that should be weighed in. You sound like you know yourself which is huge.
