How did the pin itself go? Any irritation or lump? And where did you put it?
I do my pin very slow. It’s not supposed to burn if it does you’re in muscle not fat or the ph is off ( meaning not buffered ). But I did in the abdominal.

If you have ph test check it, it shouldn’t be any higher then 6. Let your nads get to room temp (in the pin not the vial) and push plunger in slower. I tend to pinch really hard so I feel less poke.

With the Mots c I feel kinda itchy at pin site for a little while. Just started on that so not 💯 if that’s normal. But I have great energy I definitely would recommend increasing but don’t go over board. That kinda feeling could freak some people out if they are more sensitive to the amped feeling.

Dam, I reduced down from 50mg to 25mg because if the sting. I couldn’t imagine 100mg or 250mg!!

So I am wondering if NAD+ is even doing anything. Is there any blood test or anything that someone could take to tell if the NAD+ is doing anything?

Either you guys are using non-buffered NAD+ or I've gotten used to it. I mix 500mg with 1mL bac, take 0.20mL sub-q, and I feel no sting.

It seems like 50-75% of the posts i've come across are of the same mind set. Is this doing anything... My research is more into wrinkles and aging than energy. You have any before and after of yourself maybe it's working? lol

I tried doing a higher dose and had some not so fun gastric side effects a few hours later. Not sure I’ve seen many benefits either.

No. I heard Dr. Paul Jones talk about the difficulty measuring. Unstable in blood and blood does not represent qty in organs and tissues. Similar probs measuring Glutathione.

The science says NAD is definitely doing it's job. Whether the cellular environment is ready to use it is why we geek out on the MOTS/SS31 Mito health path. I'm convinced it's working behind the scenes for me, catch a flush at 100mg, but am not banking on the energy rise. That said, you bet I wanna blast 500mg to see what it's like. Common IV dose is 750ml. The other research rat and I both get some gastro going on pin day.

I'm messing with 100mg 3x weekly. Clinics (Konniver and Jones) use a "loading dose" --100mg for week then come back for the IV big bag. Patients then return 1x monthly or once weekly depending.

I keep thinking about trying NAD+ subQ, but keep hearing so much wildly varying opinions on it. I've been taking NMN for 2 years now.

I read that s/c NAD doesn't have any real advantage over oral NMN & NR. I'm curious about other people's experiences.

I am taking 50mg NAD. I don’t really think it does anything by itself, but the reason I am taking it is because I am also taking SS-31 and MOTS-C.

The precursors - NMN/NR - never did anything for me that I could tell. NAD+ subq gives me a nice bump in energy and mood that lasts all day.

I had been testing 50mg of NAD+ 3x weekly (along with oral TMG daily) for several months with no apparent effect. I then tested 2 weeks of daily 100mg NAD+, still no effect, so I've stopped. I'm thinking, because I'm 71 years young, I probably lack enough healthy mitochondria for the NAD+ to be effective. Similar concerns about BPC-157 effectivity (also currently paused).

I curious about SS-31 and whether it would help systemically with the other peptides. Any opinions on SS-31 ?

Pretty sure doctors have been giving shots in the ass with 2" needles for 100 years. 😱
