My gf is getting interested in peptides.

I wish my boyfriend showed interest in taking peps so we could do it together. He has some health issues I think he could benefit from taking them but he isn't open to it. I can't really complain, though - he supports me 100% and finds it "entertaining" to see me go down the rabbit hole. Maybe one day he will budge, but it's ok if he doesn't.

I'm glad your girl is going down the same road as you. It can be one more thing to bond about.

It took almost 9 months before she even showed a little interest. I'm stillI not sure she will actually do it but I have said that in going to make her own pen to use. I don't know how long you have been taking peps but remember we men are the slower kind of humans so it might just take longer time. I hope he will follow you in to the rabbit hole eventually.

Are going to be able to pull the stoppers and get the back in?

@JohannesSweden77 When I first started even talking about it, my wife was very in favor of it. I generally reconstitute two vials at once, one for me and one for her, they've been the same. Seeing we're on different doses starting this morning, I'll need to label with our names if I reconstitute different concentrations. I fill her syringe, and blast her. Not the good way. She's good with what ever I decide. She never had any side effects either and currently on 10mg.

Keep it simple for her and start on Reta or Tirz, not some wild stack.

A blast is still a blast 😂 yes that's what I was thinking about. I have reta but I have no experience with it and haven't tried either the pep itself nor the vials in my fridge so tirz is the safe bet. Then if she gets comfortable she can try other stuff. No stacks for now.

Yeah same thing happened to me. One family member saw me pull the trigger. Then another. And another. And another. If you source and know its safe i think its better than some dumbass buying off a facebook add and getting life threatening sides. But i also understand the anxiety of potentially being left holding the bag so to speak.

Yes for sure. Just west I felt. Is there a good pep for anxiety? 😄

If my wife asked for some peptide, ill pin her ASAP no questions asked but then again she doesn't need any kind of peptide right now and I dont see her getting interested in the "longevity", mitochondria or mental peptides. The only thing she might be interested in is GHK-Cu 🤣

Oh jeez I haven't even thought about that one. She will have to find out about those herself.

Personally, I like Selank. Specifically, N-Acetyl Selank Amidate. A fair amount like intranasally, personally I've found subcutaneous 4-5x a week provides a majority of the time calming (but not sleepy) effect.

Very true...we shall see! I started peps not long ago in March... but he has definitely added supplements I take that I suggested plus the whole ivermectin rabbithole, too. I guess time will tell. I think needles are what keeps him at bay (for now...) 😆

Oh that's not nearly enough time for a male specimen. It sounds like he's on his way to our side. Not the dark side but the gray. He'll see how easy it is to get used to needles. That was what kept me from not doing this sooner. Scary needles aren't scary at all needles to say. Excuse the pun 💉

I agree, it's only a matter of time. He takes a super expensive oral NAD and a ton of other supplements. He has seen the great results I have gotten so I know he is intrigued. I shall report back if and when he bites the bullet!

Be sure to do that and I will do the same with my better half. Soon to be even better

At least we don't have to hide them in a butter tub in the back of the fridge like some folks have. I also remember another story about visiting the in laws and wondering how to explain and someone suggested to say they got bit by a dog and that they were rabies shots!😂

Yeah that's insane. I have however not told everyone that I've switched to gray. They think I still do the prescribed. None of their business though. So need to "hide" the supply and accessories.

So since I started taking tirz my girlfriend first didn't seem interested in taking it herself but now she's even getting a bit annoying pestering me that she wants to loose weight and try some peptides also. I don't know how to react really. I want to help her lose weight and feel better in her own body but at the same time I'm scared she'll have a bad reaction or something. I'm thinking about giving her a starter dose of tirz. That will most likely happen if she keeps nagging me. Don't know what my question is anymore but maybe someone have been in a situation like this?
Maybe there’s a mild language barrier thing going on here, but this has a hint of insecurity in it. And I’m not saying that to criticize. Those sort of thoughts can creep up, right?

Sounds like the gf didn’t want anything to do with peps, now she does. Perhaps she sees you progressing nicely in your wellness journey. Maybe not.

Maybe she wants to share in this part of your life by making an effort to be interested in what you’re interested in. You’ve been together for awhile, right? That’s not too far fetched. It’s kinda nice!

Maybe you worry she’s trying to improve her appearance? I can’t imagine safety is a legitimate worry, since you yourself admitted:

Myself I couldn't wait for the filters and nice cartridges so I took the Alibaba cartridge and filled out unfiltered for my first time with a pen. She will get the filtered nice cartridge VIP treatment
You blasted first timer gray, with minimal or no safety protocols. Now, you say you do. If it’s the same as yours, why would the safety concern not apply to both?

My suggestion here is to square away why you don’t want her using the same stuff you’re using, with success. If you’re worried that she might get outside looks and she might stray, that is an issue unrelated to peps. If you’re worried about her safety because you’re worried for your own, then read around here for safety precautions (So many GLP1Forum vets helped me out with that stuff!) Couples should definitely support each other in becoming the best they can, for themselves and one another. I hope everything works out with the peptide stuff with you too!

"I'm thinking about giving her a starter dose of tirz."

Good call. Best not to start at 15mg 😅

I have tried getting my gf interested in peps but she's not and that's ok 🙂

Ugh I wish my boyfriend was interested in peptides honestly, I hate figuring this all out on my own and want someone to talk about it with. Consider yourself lucky you both will have more in common and share a common goal of health and wellness.

You’re not figuring this out on your own, look where you are

So it's done. I gave her the starter dose of 2,5mg of Tirz and I even filtered it. I know I should have done the same to my vial but it's still time. I can just filter my filled unfiltered cartridge and put it in a new cartridge.

For one second I got a slight heart attack when I thought I had taken the wrong vial and given her 2,5mg Reta instead of tirz but of course I hadn't. I needed to double and triple check the other vials anyway. Another reason to start labelling. I'm very happy all my different kits have different colored tops.

The odds are that she’ll have some side effects. It kind of means it’s working but mostly just a systemic reaction. It might be a good idea to go over all of that, if you haven’t. Same story, protein and fiber with more body movement than her normal. The non-negotiables

Also, get a cheaper Nimbot label maker and label every time you reconstitute. I think I spent $16 for mine.

Good idea. I haven't even thought about the side effects. Maybe because I didn't have any worthy to remember. But I will do that. Thanks for reminding me.

Niimbot arrives today. Labels for the tops in a few weeks from AliExpress.
