What’s onerous about them?

Be obese (BMI >29)

Be overweight (BMI >26) with another condition, like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, prediabetes or diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or obstructive sleep apnea.

But no, 130 pounds getting ready for swimsuit season doesn’t qualify. And yes, $50 is more than you “pay for grey”. It’s so unfair.

The amount of negativity and ignorance in this thread is staggering.
Without a comorbidity the BMI requirement is 35 or above. With a comorbidity it’s 30 or above. Same as traditional private insurance. My wife has excellent insurance and I was booted.

Grey is going nowhere certainly not because of this.

Lots of doc offices are still quite ignorant of this program, some putting out bad info about it too, at least per the over 60 crowd who is actively reporting on FB group about their attempts to get qualified. Some docs have even thrown up their hands and said we don't have the staff to do this extra work.

Can we please have universal health coverage now? With no one but doctors and patients deciding what's best for the patient? Please and thank you.
