This is Mana, the alpha, and sister of Ni`ele. She likes to sit on her throne and watch us peasants as we go about our business. She gets pets by playing dead, then screaming at you when you walk by (instead of meow, she says reeOWWW!). She's been extra moody lately because she wants to go outside, but she doesn't like how cold it is.

Btw, did you know (most) cats can't get get over a 6 ft vinyl fence? So, I can let mine out into the backyard without worrying that they'll get hit by a car or annoy the neighbors. I just have to keep their claws trimmed, so the can't climb up a tree and over. They love it!

My cat wishes to go outside too. He’s confined though because the neighbor’s unfixed tom combs our fence into the yard and beat up my boy so that he had abscesses and was deathly ill another time.

I lived in Hawai`i off and on for many years and got the sisters the last time I was there. They were not happy about the plane ride to the mainland.

Or catch him and get him fixed as a stray if there is a TNR program around. I have very little concern for people that not only let their cats roam free but leave them unfixed as well. My Rosie was in her first heat when she came to my house. Maybe someone owned her, I don't know. She wasn't chipped and she wasn't fixed .. so I took her to be fixed and kept her. I paid $50 per cat so they didn't clip their ears. Except Buddy .. she was pre-clipped when she decided to live on my porch and make friends.

My cats would put that under the fridge or the couch in under a minute! My 3-year old cat is always putting away his toys (under furniture) and then regretting it and looking longingly at them, just out of reach.
