I actually like the way things work right now. People who take the time to learn about peptides can get them, and people who don’t really know what they’re doing aren’t likely to jump in by accident. The main downside is just the hit‑or‑miss quality, and yeah, better safety standards would be great.
What I don’t want is for everything to get pulled into the medical system and suddenly cost two or three times as much. A $100 kit turning into a $200+ prescription is exactly what tends to happen, and that doesn’t help anyone.
The article shows how messy the whole space is, but honestly, keeping access open while improving quality seems way better than locking everything behind prescriptions.
