Hey all, I wanted to ask if there are other people here who seem to be “low responders” to a lot of substances.
I’ve noticed that many peptides barely do anything for me, even when others report strong effects. Same with some medications. I often feel like things that clearly work for others either feel very mild for me or just do not seem to do much at all.
Reta for example. It does help a bit, but not nearly as much as people on 2 or 4mg weekly...and I am on 12mg now. I lost about 12kg in 4 Months, but only because I count calories and adjust after every few Kilos.
Every time I try to lose weight, it takes a few weeks to see a bit if weight loss. Ever time I track every calorie.
So I’m curious: Are there others here who experience the same?
Have you ever found out why? Genetics, metabolism, receptor sensitivity, sleep, stress, something else?
Did anything actually help you improve responsiveness?
For context, this is not about expectations being too high. I mean cases where multiple different compounds across categories just seem weaker than they “should” be.
Would really like to hear if this is more common than I think.
