Longevity of pep and bac water

So here is the rules of thumb im using after reading all sorts of opinions (and one actual study but i think it was from a peptide vendor so might need to take with a grain of salt)

1. If its clear, youre in the clear

2. After day 60 is when the degredation tends to really start/kick off...so be wary if increasing doses with older vials since degredation can play a big factor. So keep this in mind for when you start the new vial....the increase dose might not be necessary since it was due to degredation

3. refrigerate in the coldest spot of the fridge, and if possible in a fridge that doesnt get opened often (garage fridge is what im using)

thats how im proceeding. you can take it as advice or not...the choice is yours since we are all kinda pioneering our own ways and figuring this out as it goes.

Hey yall! So I’m on week 3 on reta and my question is how long does a vial last once reconstituted in the fridge? I keep seeing people say 4-6 weeks. Others say until it’s done. I’m just really confused. My plan is to just use up my vial until it’s done unless I notice any cloudiness or weird stuff going on. I’ve also read that efficacy drops after the 28 day mark. I bought a 10mg vial for my first month, which I now realize was def too much and should’ve prob stuck with a 5mg for the first month but you live and you learn.

Also, for the bac water I’ve read similar things that it should be kept for only 28 days and then thrown out. I’ve also read a lot of people say they keep it in the fridge and others say they keep it room temp. Ive kept mine in the fridge since I got it and was thinking of just using up until done, I have 9ml left, which at the rate I’m going it’ll prob be used for a few months.

(Ik how to reconstitute and how to dose and all that, my main concern is storage because I see a lot of mixed answers everywhere and I trust the people here more. Just really want to do this the best way possible)
So based on responses I just think I’ll keep doing what I’m doing, which is keeping bac in fridge and just use up reta until done or throw away unless cloudiness and same for my bac water. I think I’ll let it sit out for a little before using for recon though since I’ve also read that sometimes their reta gets cloudy when using cold bac water. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Data point of one:

I ordered a single 10mg vial and multiple 30mg vials of Reta as both my wife and I planned on using the same vial. She bailed out and when my first vial was out (the 10mg one) I used the 30's. Yet I was still on 3mg per week.

My side effects were skin tingling, appetite suppression and when Tesamorelin was added, belly tingling. Each month I upped the weekly dose by 1mg. By the time I got to 5mg, I had to back down to 4mg for side effects. Even at the end of the vial. Which was now 2 months old.

Okay so then just keep doing what I’m doing 😅 are you storing your bac water in room temp area?
I store my spare vials of Hospira BAC at room temp, but once I pierce one for the first reconstitution, I toss it in the fridge in the same opaque Tupperware container I store my pens and vials in.

I'm pinning enough 'tides now, and helping out 2 young researchers, that a bottle of BAC doesn't last much over 60 days anyway. But I'd be fine if I used it for up to 4 months, I suppose.

Practice sterile technique, be conscientious, keep reading here! There's so much to learn. It's all just fascinating to me; going from struggling (and failing) to knowledge and success!

Yea exactly you don’t read because if you did you’d know that people also say to throw away your bac water after a month. Which is why I’m asking…
Yeah, OK. You're right, I have zero idea. On the ignore list you go.

Go take a chill pill while you’re at it

Can you actually give me a URL or something?
The original copy of that chart doesn’t exist anymore. It was deleted at the request of the group that collected the underlying data. The data exists but is only on that group’s channel, you’d need to be a member to access it.

Some peps are going to degrade faster than others. PT-141, kisspeptin and maayyyybe Tesamorelin, they are in that 2-3 week after reconstituting range I think. KPV, I feel like I have seen notes about that being pretty much just as stable as it was 40-50 days after reconstituting (and storing in fridge of course).

Answer I go with... Unless it looks wrong or it's been reconned for a week short of 2 months, I take the plunge and do the spray! Haha.
