Okay, I know this is niche, but I transitioned my research subjects from vials to pens because they are just so much nicer, and now I need to provide them with ongoing pen cartridges of medication that I want to label. The problem I am having is that the "standard" Niimbot 12x40 labels, when laid lengthwise on the pen cartridge, the bend goes down the length of the label instead of the width (as on a vial) and the adhesive is not sticky enough to hold it against that long force.
To "fix" this, I've been adding some Scotch tape to each end, but it is ugly, and even that tape sometimes comes up unless I wrap it all the way around the cart. I've also tried "spiraling" the label on the orthogonal axis, but that's very ugly but works better (but not that much better).
This is not a problem with carts that go right into a pen, since the cart holder keeps the label down more or less, but these pen carts are delivered separately and have to do some traveling to the research subject's pen.
Ideas?
(Also, is anyone printing 3 ml pen cart cases? Haven't looked yet, but it would be nice to have something to hold 4 or so carts sans pens in the fridge short term.)
