Lab results far less than expected.

Hi All

I am needing some advice.

I have sent six samples to Janoshik for testing, the results I have received are terrible with five out of the six being a total fail. 5 samples are from one vendor, and the other from another that passed.

Here are the samples and results:

BC10- Not Detected

TB10- Not Detected

TR10- Not Detected

TSM10- Not Detected

SM10- Not Detected

CU50- 99.6 Percent

These are the scenarios I am wondering.

1. The heat has damaged them but not the cu50 ?

2. Somehow they have been damaged by customs maybe by x ray ?

3, I have been taken for a ride.

All the samples were sent together, I am about to send one of the items that didnt pass to another testing facility as this will no doubt confirm what has happened.

Yes the items were purchased from a vendor on here, I am not going to mention names or create a dispute. They have been informed and its now up to getting another test. They have coa’s but not for the batch’s I ended up with but are adament that the raws are the same as previous batches with coas. They supposedly keep samples from every batch and are now sending them for testing.

Yeah I know its probably looking like option 3 but maybe cu50 is way less sensitive ?

Any way id really appreciate some experienced input here, if anyone can spare some time.

If all the samples from a particular vendor came back as ??? A different pep? Zero peps? It seems likely that vendor is a scammer.

Is there a possibility that the lab (or you) mixed the five vials up, hence the ??? None of that particular pep?

The peps were not destroyed by heat or x rays....

The vials were all labeled one by one, the colours matched the items too,

I have read that heat can degrade peps, so ive had some wishful thinking as much as it doesnt look good.

Damaged to the point that there was 0% of the pep in them? Unlikely is an understatement. The vendor pretty clearly was not expecting you to spend the money to get your own testing done. If they don’t make this right, definitely out them.

The likelihood of this being a scam is low, it may just be a mistake by the vendor. We try to avoid the immediate jump to "Scam".

Hanlon's Razor: is the philosophical saying that states you should never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity or incompetence.

I would definitely follow up with the vendor and ask them to make it right.

It was not customs or xrays, this will be on them to resolve.

Thats why I put scam as the last option, they are working with me. They have not acknowledged any mix ups etc.

Even if heat was a cause for degradation, I can’t imagine it would cause 100% failure across 5 different peps…and a 6th is perfectly fine…

The simplest answer is usually the correct answer…

I am only guessing, I did look up the temperatures of the destinations they traveled through. 30c in Czech republic as they were delayed a day.

All of our peps travel in very hot conditions, that would not explain 0, especially 5 out of 5, zero..

Sorry OP! Sucks this happened to you. It would definitely be good to let the community know the vendor. There could be folks pinning from these batches, and who knows what's actually in these vials.

Yes, this is an iIllustration of Occam's Razor in action. The vendor supplying zero peptide vials is the alternative that requires the least assumptions.
