Is anyone aware of a supplier that is manufacturing or selling Klotho-Derived Peptide 1 (KP1). Have been reading about the Klotho protein and age related neuro disease. Higher levels have been shown to be neuro-protective. I read that study and it's quite interesting. I did a search and found this supplier: https://www.tocris.com/products/klotho-derived-peptide-1_7830

It's $189 for 1mg and I know nothing about them. That study is also fairly recent, so the manufacturers will need time to ramp up, if it's feasible.

From a 2 second lookup dose was 1mg/kg in a rodent study, so super simple conversion is 1/10 to human equivalent so 0.1mg/kg per dose or 7mg per 70 kg human dose. So even if the 1mg for $189 is for 10 x 1mg it might be a bit impractically expensive. Otherwise over $1000 per dose is a bit extreme. Of course anyone trying to sell it will tailor the suggested dose in their "protocol" to the doses actually available irrespective of any science.

Klotho does sound fascinating, I don't think there is any actual human therapeutic use studies yet either.
