Don't know how the hell I missed this?

Good on you FGR!!

Are you calling it maintenance or are you still shrinking? 😎
I'm trying to transition to maintenance at this point, maybe another 5-10lbs but at 5'5 148 is good and at my age, getting down too small can come with real consequence as my face isn't as plump as it was in my youth...we lose that buccal fat we age.

Love seeing your success posts!! So happy for you!! 🙂

That's an amazing transformation. I'm proud of all you have accomplished so far. I hope I can match that type of dedication.

You will! The only advice I can really ever give is, "don't give up"...there, that is it.
I'd like to point out the inner you also. You are one of the nicest people on here and you have the sweetest disposition.

Congrats to you. You've become the total package.

My bariatric doctor at the Mayo Clinic told me straight up, people who are obese and lose weight through diet and exercise alone have a 95% regain rate. Bariatric surgery improves the odds significantly, but still not in our favor. GLPs are life changing. For the first time, I feel like I may just have a handle on maintenance.
Congrats on your success.

This is where I think GLPs are a huge advance. The idea that just maybe you only need to lose the weight once, and if you stay on them, they will do the job of helping to keep the weight off forever. The difference between trying to keep the weight off without GLP drugs versus with them is night and day.

Let's drink to your success! The next round of Premier Protein is on me 🙂
OMG, after bariatric surgery I cannot even look at Premier any longer. The gag reflex is real. I used to like them, but I had to go on a liquid diet of them two weeks before surgery and a week after...erp 🤢

Now I make my own, just milk, whey isolate and carnation chocolate instant breakfast...yeah, probably not nearly as good for me, but at least I can get some protein in

will you dm me the recipe for your DIY? I'd love to try that 🙂

Edit: or post it here or another thread if you are comfortable doing that 🙂

Oh it's super simple.

I just take an 8oz glass of milk, throw in 30grams of unflavored whey protein powder, add half to a whole packet of carnation chocolate breakfast blend and mix that puppy up. I actually do like it and sometimes, if I don't feel like eating, at least I know I have good protein and some calories coming in. ...mixed like this is 43g of protein.
