Issues sending BTC

If you have a Revolut, it's imo the easiest way. Like others above mentioned, Exodus wallet is essential too. You purchase crypto on Revolit, than you send it to your Exodus, and finaly from Exodus to vendor. Also, you can swap the currency in Exodus wallet for free. I mention that, because Revolut changed my USDC for Solana, while transfering to Exodus, but was no hassle at all to exchange in Exodus, before transferring to vendor.

This is the way........here is a tutorial to share @BrocolliBrian . If memory serves, someone on this site made it. Forgotten who ...... but it is a fantastic guide using CB to Exodus. Takes a little time to go thru the steps but it is crystal clear how it is done.

Awesome, I’ll do this. Thanks for your help.

Thanks . I also followed the simple steps . I’m all setup as well

I use Coinbase to buy the crypto and transfer to my exodus wallet, and pay from Exodus. The other day for the first time ever I ran into an issue with the transfer taking a long time to transfer like it took over and hour and I even paid extra for the fee.

i use coinbase wallet and it works flawlessly. Is there any reason why i should switch to exodus?
There may never be an issue for you. However, when I first started using crypto I heard of people getting their accounts banned at Coinbase for transferring to accounts that Coinbase deems as prohibited activity. So I got an Exodus wallet to make payments to vendors just in case any vendors BTC addresses get flagged by Coinbase.

It is just one extra step for me to transfer from Coinbase to Exodus to pay a vendor.

If you used PayPal, don’t. Unrelated to peps, but my account was locked when I tried to do anything crypto related on their platform. Use exodus wallet there’s a guide in the crypto corner section.
Thanks for posting that "crypto corner section". I came on here today looking for help with crypto.

I had this happen with my recent order with a known vendor I had ordered from multiple times before. After several attempts to send the BTC through MULTIPLE wallets from different apps, I simply texted the vendor and told them that I had tried sending to their wallet but was being denied. They sent me a new wallet address and that solved the issue. Sometimes it's just an error or some other issue and the address is no longer valid. Try reaching out to your vendor and asking for a different address.

Today i have pay my order in crypto directly with revolut

That document saved me! I had fumbled with it for a bit, but that simplified it.

I don’t have to do the whole Coinbase to Exodus. I buy BTC from Exodus itself using the MoonPay platform and use my debit card (credit cards are blocked). Transaction is completed in like 10-15 mins depending on network speeds. Super easy.

You should move your BTC to a decentralized wallet like Trust once unlocked. AML algos flagged the vendor. Not a redflag but happens with all KYC centralized exchanges (ie Coinbase, Cash App, Kraken). It will continue to happen with many vendors and your account will eventually be closed until you transfer out your balance to your own wallet.

I just spent over an hour trying to get my selfie verified with MoonPay never could get it done. I am very frustrated to say the least. Any tricks or tips? I hate and have always hated coinbase. 🙂

This thread belongs in our Crypto Corner file. PayPal has frozen all my money for 6 months and ‘permanently restricted’ my account after my attempt to send crypto to my vendor.

I thought I had crypto figured out, I made 3 purchases using the Exodus/Paypal/Solana USDT guide here. Then yesterday Paypal wouldn't let me buy through Exodus. I had to call Paypal, unlock my account by answering a bunch of questions and even then it wouldn't unblock. I am going to try the above guide using Coinbase but does anyone know if I can just use the same steps listed in the instructions but use USDT instead of USDC? I already have some USDT and don't want to have to figure out how to change it. Thanks.
I cannot find a phone number for PayPal resolution center to try to get unlocked. Please post or dm the contact number you used.

They froze my money too but I emailed all of the executive office emails I could find and they released my money the next day. Account still limited but I barely used it anyway…
