Hey everyone. I'm really happy to finally be here and introduce myself. I've been reading through a bunch of threads already, and it's honestly so encouraging to see people being open about their wins, their struggles, and just sharing the whole journey.

I've been trying to lose weight and get healthier for years, just like a lot of you. I've managed to have some success in the past with dieting and exercise, but keeping up that consistency long-term has always been my biggest hurdle. Over time, it finally clicked for me that I need a solid, sustainable routine. I need something that focuses on my overall health and daily lifestyle, not just dropping pounds.

Right now, I'm following the Optavia 5&1 plan. It’s been really helpful for keeping my portions, calories, and meal times in check. I'm keeping my daily intake pretty controlled while making sure I prioritize protein, hydration, and just sticking to the plan. I've also been working out regularly. My current routine has me lifting weights a few days a week, plus daily cardio like treadmill and stair stepper sessions. I'm trying to focus on holding onto my muscle while steadily burning fat and building up my endurance.

On the medical side, I'm currently taking prescriptions to manage my blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure. I'm also just kicking off my GLP-1 journey to help support the weight loss and my metabolic health. I did a ton of research and talked it over with my doctors before deciding this was the right next step. I know these meds aren’t some magic fix, and I totally get that they still require a lot of commitment, discipline, and lifestyle tweaks to actually work long-term.

The biggest reason I joined this forum is to learn from folks who are actually living this day in and day out. I'd love to hear about your progress, any side effects, your nutrition and workout strategies, and just your overall experience with GLP-1s. I'm also really hoping to stay motivated and accountable by being part of a supportive group that truly gets what this journey is like.

Looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing my own progress along the way. Thanks so much for welcoming me!
