I am in love with Semax and it might be a problem

I do nasal and I love it too. No rush, just better concentration, clarity, cognitive function. It is like the colors are brighter. I'm thinking of doing an n=1 double blind on myself to be sure it isn't placebo effect.
Interesting, how are you planning to do double blind? In my understanding, you will need 2 more people to set it up properly.

I will make two identical nasal spray bottles, one with just the bacteriostatic water and one with bacteriostatic water and semax added. Then I give them to my partner and tell her which one has semax in it. She labels them 1 and 2. She keeps track which of 1 or 2 has the semax but doesn't tell me. Then she puts them back in the fridge. I administer them myself and keep track of effects from bottle 1 and bottle 2. So I the subject am blind. And I the administrator (self administer) am blind. She doesn't participate in the administration and doesn't know which I use, so I cannot get any hint from her. At the end I have my notes and we can see if I found any differences if those differencea match up with semax or not.

You use BAC and not sterile saline? I find BAC frys my sinuses. I can't handle it.

Bacteriostatic doesn't bother me at all. I've got bateriostatic saline from Hosperia too. I haven't tried it.

For it to be double blind , person giving it to you should not know

The NA is more bioavailable and lasts longer, but I don't find it more intense than standard. Adamax, OTOH, is supposed to be rocket fuel. I have some, but haven't reconstituted it yet. I need to pick a time for it after the Semax vial is gone.
Thanks for that, I will definitely look into it then. I did an experiment today where I didn't take my adderall to see if I was placeboing myself. It definitely didn't give me the same level of "buzz" and seems to have worn off for the most part after about 4 hours. It makes sense that it would be enhanced with the adderall, given that people are using semax when they can't get their adhd medication. Is the BAC dilution and dosages the same?

Well, I just pulled the trigger to buy this for my husband. He has been dealing with some forgetfulness that is probably linked to his diabetes. Perhaps if this works for my husband I might approach my mother and see if she would like to try it as well. I guess we'll see.

I read through the posts here, and I think I get what you’re looking for, something that could supplement/complement your Adderall medication? Maybe it’s not feeling so effective lately, or you simply just need a little more oomph but the prescribing physician isn’t onboard with a dose increase? Well, you do have some options, Semax being one of them. You are getting a little more of a dopamine and serotonin push there.

Have you tried Selank? I didn’t think much of the spray, but subcutaneous N-Acetyl Selank Amidate? I loved it. It isn’t something that hits you in the face, but when something comes up where I would usually panic and spiral, it keeps me pretty level, focused, and overall feeling pretty nice. Thanks, pretend GABA!

Regardless of my guess amount wanting some extra power to your medicine, if you do intend on taking Adderall and Semax…

You can make sure you’re feeding those dopamine synthesizing neurons with “N-Acetyl L-tyrosine”, an amino acid. You could also try Mucuna Pruriens Extract. These are precursors to L-Dopa, which are precursors to dopamine.

There are lots of other ways to supplement/complement Adderall, from true nootropics to other things. Tons of options out there, if that is the goal.

I'm particularly fond of n-a selank myself. I have found that semax makes me mildly aphasiac -- does anyone else have this issue?

Also, I should ask: does anyone know what might cause brain fog/ mild aphasia/ etc. on semax? I get the opposite of the heightened cognitive capacity that many of you talk about.

You need to give an update here

How long did it take to feel the effects? I’m only on my second day at .5mg and don’t feel anything.

You typically need more via SQ because your liver filters it before it gets to the BBB.

If you're dosing via SQ, that should be enough to provide a response. Not everyone gets one though. I dose 1 mg when I use it via SQ. Some people go even higher, but I haven't found a need to.

I’m also doing sq. May have to go a little higher on week 2.
