I’ve kept it in the fridge reconstituted and noticed no decrease in efficacy after 3 months. I’ve not experimented a la Peter Magic and subjected it to freeze/thaw cycles, etc.

Reta is the same. My first vial lasted 10 weeks and was still clear as a bell.

According to lilly-direct, both pens and vials are single use. While the EL solution may not be bac-water, injecting water is dangerous to red blood cells. Im' sure it's a ph balanced solution, that may not have preservatives.
