Perhaps some are considering freight forwarding from the US, so I want to share my experience shipping to Germany.
I used forward2me.com, and I have nothing bad to say about them, their support was helpful in managing the issues I had with UPS. So you simply order from your preferred US supplier and give them the forward2me US postal address, and then they forward it to you as soon as you give them all the required information and pay your invoice. You might have to get creative with the invoice, because often the item description is extremely generic, but forward2me needs to know which customs code to apply to your order so you have to give them something. I used "personal cosmetics". UPS delivering the order was the hardest part, complete shit show. They're working on adding DHL, but right now its only Fedex and UPS.
