I was paying $25.00 for four Mounjaro auto-injectors, with insurance, all dosages all thru 2024. That’s $0.42/mg at the best (and $2.50/mg at the worst)
I paid the list price for four Mounjaro auto-injectors of $1,079.77 in January when my insurance dropped coverage. I paid that once and only once. That’s $18/mg (at my 15mg/week)
I paid $1,794.00 in February for 6 months of 15mg/week (12x30mg/3ml vials) compounded Hallendale tirz (and I was really happy about that at the time!) That’s $4.98/mg.
I paid $225.00 for grey 10x30mg lyophilized tirz vials in March, as I got tired of pinning 150 units/week, really really fast. I combined it with the compounded so I’d only need to pin 75 units/week. And I said I couldn’t believe I how happy I was about the compounded price. That’s $0.75/mg.
I knew I could get a better price, but as my first grey buy, I wanted a vendor that had a very active user group that does a lot of 3rd party testing, to feel comfortable. As it’s NOT always just about the cheapest price, take the Ouisa Pharmacy issue/incompetence/fraud for example.
All but my insurance and grey was more than that grey price in June of 2023.
