How are you organizing your peptides?

Lately I’ve come across a few posts about people using label systems to organize their peptides, and honestly it looks pretty interesting and surprisingly common here.

I was wondering for those of you using labels or label printers for this kind of thing, have you run into any issues with them over time?

Like:

Do the labels stay on well in the fridge?

Do they ever fall off or fade?

Any setups that worked especially well (or didn’t)?

Would love to hear how people are doing it

This is how I do mine. It’s only been a month so no idea if they will fade or fall off. I clean the vial with paper towel then an alcohol wipe before applying the label.

I read about people buy special printers and stuff, you can buy Avery labels. They come in 8.5”*11” sheets for a regular printer. You can then use there software to design your labels and print with a printer you already own. My first trial, nothing fancy.

I haven't thought about it, but probably should with an order on the way haha.

I have a simple Niimbot D110 I use for labels and round labels for vial caps and regular labels for the vial itself. I also have simple Nelko P21 that use. I personally think the Nelko is easier to use, but no round labels for it. I use the Nelko for the vial labels and Niimbot for the caps. No issues so far in the freezer or fridge. I also keep a spreadsheet of all my Reta with size, date, who I got it from and other things.

Are you really using an entire ml for your 5mg dose of mots? Why wouldn’t you do something like .5ml reconstitute or am I missing something? I’m just starting out and I’m putting 1ml in a 10mg vial and taking 1mg per dose so it’s an easy 10unit dose.

For the spicy peptides, lots of people choose to dilute the solution more to mitigate the sting.

I have an old Brother P-Touch label maker from the 1990's. Literally been using it for decades.

I use it for everything, dates of packing food preps, oil change date/mileage on the car windshield, and, yes, 'tide vials. They stick great, both in the fridge and freezer. Never been an issue with a single label.

I also label my pens with product, dose, and clicks, and keep them in the fridge.

Oh…it’s an obsession. For storage. Hydrapeaks and similar thermos with inserts. Can hold at least 50 vials in a large one. As for labeling. I have a niimbot d11h, Niimbot d110, niimbot m2 and a decent canon laser printer if I need to print labels in bulk. Still prefer to use my niimbots though. I typically label all vials with average mass, purity, vendor and batch. I label my pens and pen carts with the recon and dose information.

1. How are you labeling your out-of-pen cartridges? I just started using pens and for some recon dilutions I end up filtering into 2 cartridges. Not a problem now as I only have 2 spares and one’s GHK-Cu, but for the future I’m looking for a solution.

2. If you label them with the clear labels on your pens, do you remove the sticker before putting into the pen?

I’ll use my d110/d11h and clear labels on any carts that don’t immediately get tossed into a pen. Some pens there is enough clearance for labels to remain on carts when placed into the cart holder. Some, not so much. So, I do take them off prior to loading them into my pens simply so I don’t have to deal with any issues. Sometimes residue is an issue. Not a huge deal considering I generally put the same peptide in the same pen. Most the time the batch and product is the same so I can get by with the same pen lable for quite sometime unless I change recon or dose. Never had a label fade or peel off. With the niimbot labels anyway. Only issue I’ve come across is making sure to clean the cart and or vial prior to applying a sticker.

My niimbot labels? Yes. Sometimes the holos give me issues because they’re a tiny bit more rigid but as long as the pen is clean, no issues.

I use the plain white labels (I am a basic bitch, after all). They are thicker, and just don't seem to want flex over the curve. I think I will grab some of the clear and try them.

The clear are thinner. As are the matte blacks. Unsure if adhesive is different though.

I leave everything in the boxes they come in. Then put a handwritten Avery label on each vial when I reconstitute.

I have that same basic freezer...mines probably a bit smaller, 2 cu ft....
