Hey everyone!
It’s great to be here. I’m not new to peptides, I’ve had a little experience before.
I’ve been on my weight loss journey my entire 43 years it seems. I’m from a large family with hereditary obesity amongst other conditions.
I had a gastric bypass in 2008 and lost literally half of myself.
I remained blissfully happy at that weight for about 13 years until all of a sudden my weight started to go up again. No amount of dieting or exercise changed anything- not one bit- but no one will believe it.
It was then when I was failing and felt out of options that I found mounjaro. The miracle drug! I’m still eating and exercising the exact same as before I started the meds, but I’ve lost 4 stone 5 pounds and I want to loose about 1.5 stones more to get to my target.
I know a lot about nutrition and exercise. I know a lot about obesity and its effects on the body. I’ve done presentations for the NHS including consultants and staff at all levels focusing on what it’s like to live with genetic obesity and other diseases. Unfortunately my genes have been passed to my daughter- which makes me incredibly guilty. Together we are working to live a healthier life and I’m determined to let her live a life free of obesity and its many many challenges. We also have lipedema and pcos so weight loss is incredibly difficult and not straightforward.
Unfortunately due to the current rises in prices in the uk this medication… my lifeline.. seems like it was taken from me.. and potentially my daughter. I refuse to give in!!
I’m here to learn all I can in order to be healthy and to be safe whilst on my journey. I feel like I’ve stumbled across a great secret that’s going to have such profound effects on my life going forward! I can’t tell you all how happy I am to be here.
I’m currently making my way around the forums and soaking up all the information I can to make safe decisions which I know is of paramount importance!!!
Hello everyone, I’m so glad I found you!
