What peptides?

I have and will make a travel vial of Reta so my main vial isn’t subjected to temperature variations, even if there’s a fridge on the trip. I’ll also let that short life vial stay at room temp if that’s handy. Two weeks isn’t a crazy time at room temp for Reta in bac.

You can also take a dose before you leave and when you get back to reduce your needed amount and change the last injection date away from the end point for less time in storage.
The problem is the HGH; I have to take it every night.

Seems like a lot of work to carry your own mini fridge. The supplement container you mentioned in the original post makes sense. Your in-laws probably don’t know that supplements aren’t usually refrigerated, I didn’t. And there must be some type of supplement that needs to be refrigerated, no? If they ask, just say that these supplements do get refrigerated. And the best part is that it’s the truth. No backstory to remember. It’s your supplements, just not the ones on the packaging.

I'm going to look into refrigerators of that type, or I could also say that I have some vitamins that I need to refrigerate.
It’s the size of a shoebox and can plug into your car or wall. Keep mine in my home gym so no visitors ever see my peps and plug into the car on long trips. Maybe should have said mini-mini fridge.

There are lots of small USB-powered insulin coolers on Amazon. Here’s one option that just looks like a little thermos. Keep it plugged in in the room you’re staying in. You could use a portable battery pack as well. It’s probably harder to hide all the other supplies (syringes, alcohol wipes, etc), but you can just keep those in a bag in your suitcase and take all your trash home with you.

For the exact same reason as you, I recently bought a 'Insulin Travel Cooler'.

I found one on vinted for £20 (uk) and it works a charm. Leave it USB-C plugged in, in my bag, nobody is any the wiser! Could leave it plugged into the mains to ensure its definitely permanently running.

EDIT - Damn, @Dos-Dox beat me to it! Snap 😆 . Great minds!

Get yourself a yeti thermo flask and fill it with ice, and plonk the vials in there.

Just top up the ice every few days 👌🏼

Insulin travel cooler is a good option. You could also just keep cold packs in their fridge and switch them out a couple of times each day.

I'd hesitate to put your peps in the fridge, because you never know when someone is going to get curious and decide to have a look at your "supplements", then they'll think you're hiding drugs when they see vials in there.

For losing/maintaining weight at someone else's house, the easiest solution would be orfo tablets. But I know you are also talking about other peptides (besides a GLP like reta).

Do they have a second fridge that they don't use much? I'm guessing no, since that seems to be more of an American thing compared to Europe.
Yes! This....the Basement Fridge!!!!

And here there's almost never another refrigerator in the houses.
Wow, that's almost a rule for a garage fridge where I live.

"Why is your shaving cream in the refrigerator, Hans?"...lmao

Other than that it's classic. I'm sure someone can use their 3D printer to make something to hold vials.

Hey everyone!

I'm going to be traveling to my in-laws' house for a couple of weeks next month. I need to put my peptides in the fridge without anyone noticing; only my wife knows. Where could I hide them? I thought about putting them in a supplement container, but that's odd since they don't need refrigeration.

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks for your advice!
If I was going to my in-laws, I'd just take them all at once.

What would I do without this wonderful forum? I think I'm going to buy a fridge with a built-in USB port and store it there! Hahaha, your ingenuity is incredible!

So I got one of the mini fridges. Most of them say they will only go a max of 20º under ambient, honestly it's more like 10º consistently. My bathroom gets morning sun and was hitting 75º F in early spring, the fridge could hardly manage 55º if storage guidelines are to be believed then anything above 40º refrigerated is going to degrade. and if you want to store lyophilized vials 'long term' you supposedly need to keep it at -40º to -80º (These types of lab grade freezers will set you back 5-10k) Ran across an interview on the Tubes discussing exactly this with a lab that tests peptides specifically. Most of these guidelines are complete bunk, they're there for the industry to CYA. I work in an environment where we have a lab for our products and produce CofA's and GCMS data, unfortunately our equipment cannot test peptides. The lab manager discussed how reconstituted vials at room temperature are good for at least 30 days probably 6+ months, lyophilized sitting in your garage is good for 5 years more than likely, he also covered how if shaking peptides up during reconstitution or handling vials roughly ruined the peptide humans would probably die at the drop of a hat from a bump, not to mention if you see how most lab samples are handled it's nowhere near as delicate as most people indicate. Consider how is this stuff shipped to you? You're not getting refrigerated -40º temperature controlled peptides delivered to your door and they are definitely not doing that on the way from China to the US or Europe. How long is this stuff sitting in a container in the middle of summer roasting in the sun before it gets through customs and shipped to your door? It's more likely you'll introduce bacterial contamination when piercing the vial and that may cause an issue than the peptide going bad. I still keep my vials refrigerated and in the freezer pre-constituting, but if I'm going to travel like that I'd just keep them in a reasonably cool place out of sunlight and call it a day.

And you can have a whole backstory that you were on heartburn pills (proton pump inhibitors) that lower your B12 to dangerously low, vegan levels, haha. But you can't help your addiction to heartburn pills, because their daughter's cooking can be very upsetting to your GI system, and you never know when she will strike again, since she hates your cooking as well. And the ongoing arguments about meal planning often result in no one eating dinner, lowering your B12 even more.
You're my favorite now.
