Hello all, first I would like to thank you all for the information I have already received from the forum and your experiences.
About me
I have always been obese even as a kid, it was a concern and a struggle I have tried plethora of diets (low cal,low fat, low carb, intermittent fasting, long fasting, etc). in early sept I was diagnosed with diabetes with an a1c of 10 and immediately was started on metformin and insulin and told that if I could get my blood sugar under control the doctor would look to start me on mounjaro. After a few month and getting my blood sugar so well under control that I don't need insulin or metformin and losing 40 pounds the doctor didn't want to put me on a GLP-1 because I didn't "need it". The problem I had is I knew the way I was losing this weight was not sustainable in the long term I have never had any portion control I eat until I am full every time I eat (and for me that could be 4000 calories in one sitting) The way I lost this weight was long water fasting in the neighborhood of 4 days per week and keto the rest of the time. So I decided to take things into my own hands and sourced retatrutide on my own and have finally had some semblance of portion control though I hope the appetite suppression goes up as I titrate the dosage up. I found out through this forum I had sourced my peptides from a less then reputable source and will make my future purchasing decisions with some data behind them. Anyways this feels long and rambly to me but thank you all.
