I saw a single article on it, but I can't seem to find any other information on it.

Op... are you on trt?Mr. Blonde said:Never heard of glps doing this. More of a testosterone or AAS thing.

So the glps balance the slight raise in hematocrit from test? That's good cuz if you were banging 4 or 500mg test weekly it would be too high to donate blood after 6 or 8 weeks.Tabletalk said:After beginning try my levels have been slightly elevated, but immediately after dosing glp1 there tends to be a decrease in my hematocrit levels.

Went back over my hematocrit results:Airborne Daddy said:So the glps balance the slight raise in hematocrit from test? That's good cuz if you were banging 4 or 500mg test weekly it would be too high to donate blood after 6 or 8 weeks.

Dehydration can elevate hematocrit a bit due to hemoconcentration. If your albumin went up, too, that might have been the cause.Kalius said:I saw a single article on it, but I can't seem to find any other information on it.
Glp1s can definitely cause nutritional anemia......IshimaruKenta said:I just got my blood work back and my hemocrit levels aren't really any higher than they were off GLP1s.

I am on TRT, not really worried about it one way or another, just curious because I saw an article on a medical situation where they took someone off GLP and their hematocrit went up (which was a good thing in the situation).Airborne Daddy said:Op... are you on trt?

I don't have any issues, was just curious.BioDad said:Dehydration can elevate hematocrit a bit due to hemoconcentration. If your albumin went up, too, that might have been the cause.

How significant was it? I am not having any hematocrit issues at the moment (taking 120mg test/week), but it would be nice to get off GLPs someday, and if I was close to a high level once I'm there, wanted to know if it was something I should consider.Tabletalk said:After beginning try my levels have been slightly elevated, but immediately after dosing glp1 there tends to be a decrease in my hematocrit levels.

This is the most likely answer....BioDad said:Dehydration can elevate hematocrit a bit due to hemoconcentration. If your albumin went up, too, that might have been the cause.

I know there is a direct correlation to diet and hydration, but the article I read went beyond that. I am having trouble finding the original article though ughtncc_rn said:This is the most likely answer....
