Excellent points, we can only control our end of the chain wrt storage recon etc. but I guess my view is that the huge saving I make going grey means I can afford to slightly increase my dose to compensate and indeed highly tailor my dose as I don’t follow the 2.5mg increase, I only increase by 1mg at a time split between my two weekly doses (minimising sides). The actual wanted action of the available molecule can be compensated for by slight dosing increases but the action of those bioavailable molecules is identical to the original due to the high specificity of the receptor. I split dose so can use a ‘smaller’ test doses to see the effect. Most people on larger doses probably won’t notice difference as over time the noticeable sides can decrease and vary weekly anyway due to body acclimating, hormones etc. but the biological action remains. Even Eli Lilly have a BUD which means they expect the activity to degrade over time, also, it just depends what level is tolerated by QA and the various regulatory authorities.

My thoughts, are yes, the grey works and it might require a bit larger dose than the name brand to get the job done. I’m no expert in this field, just an old rat. Happy to be on the dark side, the grey works just fine for me.
