Regular, long-term use of Benadryl is not recommended, as it can cause dementia and cognitive impairment, dependence and withdrawal, heart problems, and other issues.
That warning would apply taking the medication as a pill, not from applying a cream or other topical? The only warnings for topical is not to spread over large areas, not to put in places that are not skin, and not to eat it.

You are right, if someone were to take the medication instead, everytime they pinned that could be dangerous.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll substitute Allegra or Zyrtec, or some other anti-histamine and see if that works. I have had some allergic reactions to bee stings in the past and wonder if that indicates the subject may be prone to ISRs from GHK-cu. Will follow after more research.

Thank you for posting this. A very good friend of mine is a neurologist who is also board certified in sleep medicine. He told me that Benadryl usage as a sleep aide is associated with a (I forget the actual number now) 4-fold increase in early-onset dementia, and it should not be used as a sleep aide.

That reminds me, Tylenol PM has Benadryl (aka diphenhydramine) in it, so don't use that regularly as a sleep aid either.
