I had some mention to me that I should take zinc picolinate vitamin with the GHK-CU50.

But when I googled it and got mixed answers....

1. “The same part of our gut absorbs [zinc and copper],” said Dr. Cohen. “So they compete with each other. The problem with this is: If you take too many zinc supplements, it will interfere with your ability to absorb copper in the diet, and you could potentially get sick.”

2. Zinc Picolinate and Copper work together to regulate metabolism and energy levels · health benefits, include boosting immunity, improved skin, hair, and nails.

Zinc can be used in conjunction with copper peptides, particularly if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin.

?????????????????????
Yeah, no issues..Simple logic. Cu is entering through blood while zinc enters through gut..no clash.

Looking for a bff in this chem ical soaked post .com era is very tricky.

It's a thing people talk about, and there is a medical condition (Wilson's Disease) which prevents the excretion of Copper, and you shouldn't use GHK-Cu subcutaneously in that case. Otherwise, I've tested my Cu levels on goodlabs and it was fine after weeks of using 2+mg daily for over 2 months. YMMV!

I did read on a couple of retail sites that sell GHK-CU that it should be an intramuscular injection.

It's not necessary to be IM like some of the oils or GH to reduce ISR. I do subQ, but with an 8mm rather than 5mm pen needle, and I rotate around. Some people just use 5mm.

KLOW or KPV+GHK reduces inflammation pain/bruising as does adding some GHK-basic if you're searching for solutions. Definitely dilute as much as you can (like 50mg/3ml or 100mg in 2 carts at 12-15unit daily). Straight GHK-Cu doesn't bother some people and does others so there's lots of suggested work arounds. Gotta find what works for you.

I am interested in your recommendation for using it for hair. I have been wanting to try this but haven't made the decision yet. I have been looking at using The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum (60ml) and mixing in 1g of either cosmetic GHK-cu or AHK-cu.

Could you please share your thoughts or personal experience on any of the above (if you have any) being in the bath and body product industry?
I am not sure what peptides are in the Ordinary's serum. Usually, just a plain HA serum works best, that way you can control the amount (opposed to adding to an unknown amount already in the serum). If for hair, I would choose AHK over GHK. Studies have shown AHK-cu stimulates hair follicle proliferation in vivo.

I am fairly new to peptides, and don't really have long term person experience with them topically yet. Just like most actives, don't expect immediate results.

Thank you!

Is there a plain HA serum you recommend specifically for hair? or do you suggest the same Torriden Dive in, with ceramides? If you are willing to comment on it, would you say that 1g to 60ml is a good ratio?

From previous research, most I have come across mention using a dropper. I think a sprayer would be easier to get it spread out, but would rather do the extra work if results are usually better with a dropper. (For context, I have always had hair on the thin side. Now in my 40's and with weight loss, I have seen more coming out in the shower. I wouldn't say I have bald spots, but would rather do everything I can to make it healthier before I do.) Any thoughts on dropper vs. sprayer specifically for topical use on hair?

Thanks for the advice on AHK. I am definitely leaning that way.
You can get 30-60ml airless squirters/sprayers on Amazon (3 for $10), which will help the AHK-Cu last longer without oxidizing. Keep it in the fridge too. Somewhere between 1.5-3% is good so 1gr/oz is fine. Over a month it will degrade about 20-30%, but you'll have enough extra for it to still be as much as your skin can absorb.

If you're worried about being able to mix the blue powder with the thick HA goo, I'd recommend getting a cheap tatoo ink mixer ($10) from amazon as well. It's better than having chunks in the liquid you can't shake out!

I would think an existing basic hair serum would be a better choice than HA serum for the scalp. Using something with ceramides is a waste of money for this.

Safe usage of AHK-CU is up to 5% and 10% in some "clinical strength". So, if using 60g of serum, add 3g AHK-CU (if using 5%) or 6g (for 10%).

I think a bottle like the pic below would be a better choice than a spray bottle. You want to treat the scalp, not the hair. This bottle will allow direct scalp application.

Also look into topical caffeine for hair growth. Studies show it can help as well.

I chose to go with a low molecular weight hyaluronic acid serum with added ceramides (which my skin loves).

1 gram of the GHK-CU cosmetic

30ml of HA serum

I am a bath and body product maker, so I used my small (dedicated bath and body) mini battery whisk to mix everything together.

Divided into 3 (10ml) airless pump bottles. This way, I can have one bottle out and keep the remaining bottles in the fridge.

It is just soooo pretty.

Just want to thank you for the inspiration . I got a gram of Raw GHK-Cu powder, threw a ml of BAC water in, mixed it up then poured it into Torriden Dive IN Serum' Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid.

I did separate it into four pumps to maintain freshness. Really pretty.

The serum is doing wonders for my face and chicken-texture legs, I absolutely am obssesed with it.

Note: I have been injecting 2 mg of GLOW every day for the past 8 weeks, so that has also helped tremendously. I even have quieted-down the ISR from the injections.

I’ve read mixed information about storing serum. Some say it should be refrigerated, while others say it’s not necessary if you finish it within 3 months.

Any suggestions?

Not an expert, but most things that I have read encourage a dark, cool place for reconstituted GHK-Cu. I figure it can't hurt to keep it refrigerated.

I have the same formula (just more GHK in it) and I love it.

I also made another serum, using GHKcu/Snap8/Matrixyl 3000...I like that one in the morning as it tightens everything up...esp under the eyes.
which matrixyl do you use?

Now Im getting inspired!

I hate wasting plastic. So I mix my GHK right into a glass bottle of HA usually The Ordinary, it mixes in really well. I am inspired to know about other helpful ingrediants to add to that.

The ceramides and Matrixyl sound exciting Thanks!

HA is too thick a solution to spray. I would assume it would get stuck.. You can rub it in.

I have a bottle of The Ordinary Matrixyl 10% + HA waiting for my snap-8 to arrive for testing.

I've seen conflicting things about mixing GHK-CU and snap-8 together, maybe I'll split my mix and do some with and some without, for science.

I really do love that blue color. Whether it’s going on my face or into my ass muscle.

This is where I get cosmetic ingredients in bulk quantities at low prices. Shipping is slooow, so don't even expect Chinese peptide speed. You can also get straight hyaluronic acid at a good price.

Matrixyl 3000

SNAP 8

GHKcu
