Back to GHK-basic...

Signaling Molecule for Tissue Repair : GHK Basic acts as an endogenous signal released during tissue injury, triggering processes like fibroblast migration and gene expression changes related to repair and regeneration. It is found in human plasma, saliva, and urine, with levels declining from ~200 ng/mL at age 20 to ~80 ng/mL at age 60.

Potent Antioxidant Activity : GHK Basic is a powerful scavenger of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and cytotoxic byproducts of lipid peroxidation (e.g., acrolein and 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal). At 10µM, it can reduce ROS levels by nearly 50% in cells. Its ability to quench hydroxyl radicals is stronger than that of glutathione (GSH), a major cellular antioxidant.

Anti-Inflammatory Effects : In cellular models, GHK Basic reduces the expression of key pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-α and IL-6. It modulates inflammatory pathways, including NF-κB and p38 MAPK signaling, which are central regulators of the body's inflammatory response.

Copper Homeostasis and Gene Regulation : While GHK Basic itself is copper-free, its primary biological function is intrinsically linked to copper. Its histidine residue has a high affinity for copper (II) ions, allowing it to act as a natural copper carrier. It modulates the expression of over 4,000 human genes, influencing pathways involved in tissue remodeling, oxidative stress response, and inflammation. Its gene-regulating effects are often studied in comparison to its copper-bound form.
Thank you so much for this. I have been focusing on tissue repair and anti-inflammatories. Last year, my annual mammo resulted in a biopsy. The biopsy didn't go well and I had to have a second one. The pathology report showed chronic inflammation among other findings.

The biopsy experience was awful. I passed out the first time and, even with an Ativan, I barely made it through the second one. I bought KPV to address inflammation and haven't started it yet. I don't know what I'm waiting for....

Pinned it this morning. Smooth as silk. I thought a side of the butt jab of Cu was the way to go. Side of the butt jab of Cu+B is the answer. I went 1:1. Pinned 4mg at once. I never pinned more than 2mg/day of Cu.

I am toast in the evenings to remember much of anything. Maybe over the weekend I will try spacing it out.

Thanks again for your help!!

If this is purely because of the injection soreness, I use lidocaine with epinephrine and extra bac, then split the dose by injecting on three different sites (far, far apart). I know this seems excessive, but I have very bad reaction to ghk-cu that lasts all day and this method has never failed me.

mixing in ghk-basic will eliminate the need for all that.

Yes indeed, however availability/accessibility and cost are important factors for me as well. I have a lot of epi/lido lying around and it has worked well for me at no extra cost.

No. Nothing to do with ISR. I have mitigated that issue. But thanks for sharing your solution! It's always good to know how people work around the Cu Spice.

I've spent the good part of a day looking for a vendor with Basic. Can someone DM me a few sources? Thanks in advance.

Singles or kits?

I think both. I'd like to try a single with my GHK-cu but I'd buy a kit if I find benefits from it.

Most of the places that were doing buys last month are over but I know of one or two with on-hand supply. I’ll message you.
