You put these inside of a freezer bag or just tossing the case in the freezer?
Yep, straight in the freezer, have two of them. I now have this beauty, holds 288 3ml and has 4 separate inserts. I put them in by size and where they came from. I do all my own labels. Fits in the bottom of my garage freezer just fine.

Repeatedly thawing and refreezing peptides is generally not recommended as it can impact stability. For future storage, using containers with individual slots or foam inserts can prevent vials from sticking and make retrieval much easier.

I use the hydrapeaks with the inserts and just bought the 2000ml 304 Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulation Lunch Box off Aliexpress that have 132/144 vial inserts. I've noticed a bit of frost buildup inside and on vials and did a bit of digging with ChatGPT:

At least, in my case, don't bring the boxes out of the freezer to open them. You let it fill with room temperature air and then you're sticking it back in the freezer to condensate.

Open the container or box while still in the freezer, don't even expose it to warm air if possible.

I understood that part... But why transfer them out of the plastic cases they come in to put them in another plastic case? I haven't had any of those issues with the original packaging.
My peptides did not come in the plastic containers I see a lot of pictures of on this forum. This why I bought the larger plastic containers from Amazon. The vials went into the storage slot tightly prefrozen so maybe the tolerances are tighter in the Amazon containers than what you receive your peptides in.

Both of my suppliers sent my orders wrapped up in bubble wrap and taped together inside of small cardboard boxes. I only bought one china direct and several wholesale buys from a US reshipper. With more China direct orders soon to be placed.

I have a bunch of the smaller versions of these. It's easier for me to play tetras in my freezer when I can move them around versus a few large ones. Also, I kinda love when I get a new one and get to pop out the little foam cutouts.
I get it. Like popping bubble wrap. It has a sensory appeal. lol.

Do you use the mini steel containers that come with it?if not, which inserts fit in it?

Ideally I would like some silicone inserts that I can just cut to size to fit in the insulated food flasks I already have at home by Thermos King and zojirushi (which offer better cold storage than the hydropeak)

I haven't gotten mine in the mail just yet, so I haven't decided. I'll probably use those for something else. I did see some listings on etsy that showed them being used though.

As for the large container, I believe these inserts fit. Or you can 3d print your own.
