From “Untucked Overshirt Guy” to “Wait… Who Is This Stylish Man?”

I went from wearing XXL polo style shirts in August of last year to just ordered and received a medium polo from Amazon that fits very well. I haven't worn a size medium shirt in over 20 years. My mind was blown...

Congratulations on those stage wins. My first milestone was my wife bought me a new belt. That made me happy. LOL.
I be drillin holes in all my old belts. I leave the extra tail length floppin to show off.

It's an amazing feeling. I still have ways to go before I can fit into regular sizes, but just got some new pieces to replace old items that finally feel too loose. Now I have an opposite problem to before - do I keep the fat clothes "just in case"? Till now, it was "this is nice, I'll keep it in case I lose weight"....

I made multiple generous donations to Goodwill.

Somewhere along the way, without my consent, my wardrobe decided to level up.

I’ve always been a “canvas/chamois/heavy overshirt untucked because that’s who I am as a person” kind of guy. Then the last couple months happened.

Stage 1: “Huh… my Carhartts are getting loose.”

Stage 2: “Wait… my T‑shirt stays tucked in? By itself??”

Stage 3: “Hold up, I can wear a chamois over a T‑shirt now?”

Final Boss: This morning I put on a T‑shirt… under a button‑down… tucked that in… and it actually looked normal. Pants still loose. Universe still intact.

At this rate, by summer I’ll be out here wearing linen and having opinions about tailoring.
I am sooooooo happy for you!!! It's always good to change clothes for a down size instead of a biggest size! Enjoy summer in your new shape and let your calves see the sun!!!

I love love love seeing progress updates like this. It is inspiring me to take more lifestyle changes aside from my diet.
