I took my first shot of GLP-1 today (semiglutide) and I really hope this works. I'm a 59 year old woman who weighed 322lbs at my last Dr appointment last week. This has to stop.
I've always been heavy. My health is fine right now but I know going forward with all this extra weight is not the way to go. I had a complete hysterectomy 15 years ago and it's just been a few more pounds every year till here I am.
I can't afford the Dr prescription for very long. They give it to you for $199 a month for 2 months (wegovy) but then it jumps to out of my reach. I've been reading here about the gray market and I'm interested. Any particular threads to get me started? I already kind of understand but I need details.
