I am currently doing well with nutrition and gym workouts but wanting to add Peptides to the mix.

Quick question for Peptide Usage.

Looking at options

Reta

Tesa

Tirz

Some are saying just Reta, some Reta and Tesa, others say Tirz

What’s the general though for burning fat while appropriately focusing on macros and workouts

Looking to only take it for 2-3 months as I just want to burn the fat/weight off and progress from there

Thanks in advance

My personal experience with tirz and reta (haven’t tried Tesa yet)

I was on the lowest dose of tirz for 12 weeks and dropped 13kg. I barely had an appetite at all and definitely didn’t have the energy to do much physical activity.

I’m currently on reta (4-5 weeks in) and the suppression doesn’t hit nearly as hard meaning I can still get my protein in so I’m not losing muscle or getting pancake butt 😂

A lot of people I know are on reta for the same reason - not trying to drop a large amount of fat and wanting to retain muscle.

Reta and hgh or the tesa

Tesa is for visceral fat, so if you don’t have a lot of visceral fat, then using tesa doesn’t make much sense. Are you sure you have a visceral fat issue?

If I was going to start taking peptides for the first time and wanted to cut, I’d personally start with retatrutide. It’s a more effective medication than tirzepatide.

I think I have read somewhere on this forum that Tesa will make you burn more visceral fat, but hold more water.

Yes, some users report significant water retention initially, but after stopping or as the body adjusts, that water retention resolves fairly quickly. This is a common GH-class effect.

Some may also experience increased appetite while on tesamorelin, and if not managed, that could lead to unwanted weight gain.

Having to guess a fair bit without weight, height, age and amount you are trying to lose, but reta is the obvious choice to reduce fat, assuming you are talking about losing 10% body weight or so. It seems to work surprisingly well at low doses in people who are not severely overweight, it caused an average loss of 9% at 1mg in a year, and around 20% at 4mg in 80 weeks. Your timescale might be a bit quick in terms of slowly increasing doses , increasing carefully starting at 2mg will get you to 4mg by 2 months, but will not produce the maximum weight loss benefits that quickly if you are hoping for major results in 2-3 months. Maximum weight loss at a given dose realistically takes about a year or a bit more, and pushing doses up quickly to get faster results could increase risks of worse side effects.

I'm on reta for the exact reason you mention. I do pretty heavy workouts, and don't want to lose the energy to do so - I want to be able to eat enough food and retain my muscle while also losing a bit of fat!

If you just want something to help you cut, it sounds like reta is what you're after. If you already have an easy time controlling your appetite you may not even need to go beyond 4mg a week.

MOTSC is a good option for increasing your performance slightly during workouts, but there are all kinds of supplements I would add before getting into peptides.

It doesn't sound like they're up to running whole gh. Regardless, why suggest gh/tesa for someone who only wants to cut for 2-3 months? GH is a long game.

Tesa isn't really "for visceral fat," that just happens to be what the studies that brought it to market focus on. It's just a GH promoting agent.

Causes water retention, helps with burning fat (including buzzword visceral fat), and can give more restful sleep and better recovery time. And in bad cases the water retention can cause other side effects.
