Experience with Orforglipron

Just want to share my personal, extremely limited experience. I got my first batch Orforglipron on Saturday. I took one of the pills on Sunday, as Monday is my normal injection day and food noise is always extra loud on the weekends. I basically felt extra full all day. I'm still pretty big, so I did manage to get in about 1800 calories, but I did not have to use very much will power to stick to keep the calories low.

I took my injection today and I feel a lot fuller than I normally would on a shot day. The shot normally doesn't hit until Tuesday for me, but there's definitely still some Orforglipron in the system, even though I did not take another pill today. Some time early next year after I finish up my current vial, I will be documenting my journey of just Orforglipron for a month or so. Just wanted to share, as there are so few posts about this here, on Reddit, or STG.

The pills I received all tested around 9mg. I've only taken one so far. In the new year, when I am done with my current vial of tirz, I will be documenting my solo use of Orforglipron.

Where did you find orforglipron? Any reasonable priced gray out there other than Uther? Feel free to DM if you like.

Nope, I have managed to secure two bottles, but both are secondhand and indirectly from Uther. One is from one of the more reasonably priced vial resellers who bought it, but decided against selling it. The other is from a group buy, both were purchased from the same Uther lot though.

No side effects, it definitely curbed my appetite. I can get a lot of sugar cravings on Reta 8 mg, which is a bitch, and Orfor helped with that.

I only tried it a few days.

Good to have for holiday.

UtherPep sold out, so now only PGB domestically and whoever else may be selling it.

Eventually, if insurance companies play ball, there will be far less need for grey orfo, even for those of us who are no longer obese:

Lilly is explicitly asking the FDA for a "Maintenance of Weight Loss" indication. If approved (expected March 2026), your doctor can code the prescription for "prevention of weight regain" rather than "treatment of obesity."

But Lilly's self-pay prices will still be much higher than grey. $149 per month for the starter doses, going up to $399 for the highest doses (not that much cheaper than the max dose of self-pay Zepbound):

Lilly recently announced an agreement with the U.S. government to expand access to its obesity medicines and reduce patient costs. Upon FDA approval, self-pay patients living with obesity will be able to access orforglipron through LillyDirect's self-pay pharmacy channel with the lowest dose starting at $149 with additional doses up to $399.

The $149/month price mentioned in recent Lilly announcements for 2026 is most likely going to apply to the starter doses (1 mg, 3 mg, and 6 mg).

Maintenance doses (24 mg - 45 mg) are expected to scale up in price, potentially reaching the $399/month cap for self-pay.

It’s interesting that orforglipron isn’t a peptide. It’s a small molecule that is broken down by the liver. Much greater chance for drug to drug interactions given the liver detoxification pathways. Pfizer’s small molecule non-peptide GLP-1 agonist never made it out of clinical phase 2 due to liver toxicity concerns. We should keep an eye on this drug and its side effects a little closer, especially if taking other liver metabolized medications.

With orforglipron getting a fast track approval think it will have even more people looking for it. The potential price isn't crazy more than the gray price, hoping gray will drop a ton.

It was just a test for a few days, to see how it was. Have them i the closet for later use, if needed.

Only if that medicine is metabolized by CYP3A4, the one orfor uses.

orfor is not a very strong inhibitor or inductor, so not a lot of interaction.

No studies have shown liver toxicity.
