Exodus and Robinhood

I got my Exodus wallet set up a few days ago and today I decided buy BTC and Sol to test it out. I’ve traded stocks and bought crypto here and there for years however I’m somewhat new to crypto wallets. I was trying to fund/buy directly from Exodus using Apple Pay without any luck then all of a sudden Robin Hood pops up for away to buy bitcoin or Solana on Exodus so I successfully purchased both Using my Robinhood funds. As I’ve read through the forums, I see where people mention issues using Robin Hood. My question is will I have any problems? Again, I’m still new at the wallet and how to properly fund it without having issues. Any advice is appreciated.

I have not had any luck with purchasing through exodus!! I have tried apple pay, 2 different credit cards. States that it cannot verify my payment method. I don't know what the hell I am doing wrong if anything.

Try using a debit card, credit cards usually decline because some companies treat it like a cash advance

I have had success with purchasing with Moonpay via Exodus. Even bought some USDT on ETH today! I have a debit card linked and it’s pretty fast. Funds available in less than 30mins even purchasing bitcoin.

Now, getting all the damn verifications set up was a bit invasive. DL scan, photo of face, breed of dog neighbor owns, feet pics. I thought next thing it would ask for was picture from the bathtub! I guess our govt has enacted all that, I doubt moonpay or exodus want to keep up with that . Good luck to you with it!

I had that same thing, up to and including the bathtub thing. Turned out I downloaded the wrong app, and I was ACTUALLY talking to some early twentysomething kid in Toledo and he couldn't even tell me anything ABOUT crypto cause he didn't know. It was disappointing, but he was overall a nice kid with a lot of good questions about career path and saving for a house.

I had a CC won't work but my debit and a visa do. Sometimes I get that message and then I get the text authentication number I have to type in. The second time it goes through. Also sometimes doesn't acknowledge my preferred payment is debit and takes me to xpo to buy where you'd start all over with account, ID etc... I exit out try again and it works. It may be trying to confirm ur location or identity initially I'm guessing.

It didn't ask me for feet pics just said upload weiner and when I did it said file not large enough....
