Doc: do you ever masturbate? Forum member: Bro, once a day minimum.... after visit summary notes: Patient suffers from Chronic Masturbation Disorder (CMD).... When asked if a candidate for counseling, replied with "Id rather a thick Latina".

For me Retatrutide killed my 25 years weed addiction after 1 pin ... and my tcg gambling addiction at the same time

Tirz killed my desire to drink. Coming up on 3 year sobriety milestone. GLP’s better than Naltrexone.
Tirz (MJ) has been incredibly effective for me at suppressing the dopamine reward response in my brain. Foods I used to crave—like ice cream, cakes, and chips—now actually make me feel sick when I look at them. I love it. When I do feel like eating, I naturally crave healthier foods instead. I feel like this could help suppress all kinds of addictive habits—junk food, drugs, alcohol, etc. It’s honestly amazing.

According to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Phase-3 Brenipatide Study is still recruiting:

A Study of Brenipatide in Participants With Moderate-to-Severe Alcohol Use Disorder

Lilly's webpage about it
That will be rough clinical trial for participants after the trial is over, they're no longer getting the med, and (in theory) they have to wait for it to be FDA approved.

Brutal

I’m excited for that 👍 Tirz has done nothing to curb my daily ecig use. Nicotine is a huge weakness for me, and one day soon I will be ready to send it to hell. Like He-Man with a giant boulder ☄️

But if they have been off alcohol for awhile won't the cravings be long gone?

Sorry if that sounds naive but I ain't much for alcohol.

When you're off Pop Tarts (please replace with the actual food that has represented a vice for you) for 6 months do those cravings remain gone?

Every recovering alcoholic I've talked to tells me that even after 10 years of sobriety, it's still a daily challenge for them on some level. Or they just say that to people because that claim has become part of their person. I don't know.
