It appears the drug will be quite effective yet less effective than tirzepatide. The drug should be much easier to produce in quantity that the GLP-1 drugs. One person in the article suggests it could be much cheaper than existing drugs; I doubt that will end up happening. I suspect many folks who wouldn’t consider injecting themselves will use it.
