The warmer it is, the quicker it will break down. It won't become poisonous but it will become less effective over time. There is no way to stop that, but freezer temperatures slow it.steppinthrax said:

at -80 you must be using a ultra low temp freezer. I see them online go for 2 - 4K, of course you have used med equipment from Marketplace. Walmart sells a ultra low fridge that's advertised as going -40 for around 300 bucks but I'm not sure if I trust that.stickfigure said:

What is the refrigerant in Chinese copy? Trying to understand how close is it to the original. The control panels are different, but I don't think that itself is an issue

The Alibaba freezer above (the red one) only gets down to -40 but does it reliably. I am pretty happy with it overall. I think the ULT25 is -86c but much smaller and much more expensive.stickfigure said:
