That’s a good question. I’ve never been on compounded, or brand name.

I can say that in my dealings with compounding pharmacies as well as weight loss clinics/spas, never once have I seen any usage or mention on filters. I might ask a couple next week just to see how many look at me with deer in the headlight eyes (more on the weight loss clinics/spas than the pharmacies)

What do you plan on accomplishing by being new on a forum and acting so aggressive towards people? I am not saying that you can't have a differing opinion, but calling people names? I have relatives in North Carolina (just outside Raleigh actually) and they are always pissed about something and wanting to fight about something. I didn't 'dogpile' I made one comment explaining that your insult made you look like you had done zero research on the audience here.

You have zero fucking idea what I've done for this community because you're brand new. You posted one reference without a link, what I'm pretty sure is chat gpt responses, and one study you didn't properly understand, meanwhile insulting people who have been here much longer and discussed many of these things at length. Harm Reduction - Still Air Box

Lately I have seen lots of talk about filtering but one thing I have not seen is discussion of the use of a still air box to reduce chance of contamination during the process. In many discussions and videos they talk about wiping down the area and wearing gloves etc. The reality is the most likely source of contamination is the air while the needle is exposed and going into the vial assuming you follow good technique and don't touch dirty to clean.

Ideally we would work in a laminar flow hood. These can be made or procured for a few hundred $ to couple grand. However we can greatly...

I would argue this is the opposite extreme and not at all making smart choices, as you now know.

Statistically you could play 1000 rounds of Russian roulette and live to tell, or one and done.

Although I do not filter, I did buy all the filter paraphernalia, studied on how to do it, and was prepared to add it to my routine. Although I have not yet done it, I believe that people have to understand the risk exposure of doing this type of self research and have the benefit of many opinions, facts, and anecdotal contributions.

I do follow most other safety protocols and make an attempt to avoid exposing myself to potential issues.

While dying from Russian roulette is always 1 out of 6 (assuming revolver, etc) each and every time you do it, I am pretty certain the odds of dying from not using a filter on a peptide is a little different. I would go so far as to say that no one in this forum can give accurate safety data on it. I think the take home here is 1. @Augu5+1ne was not hugged enough as a child and 2. Filtering, while always should be a part of best practices, should be implemented at a user level based on their comfort with both the perceived and real drawbacks to not doing it.

I cannot argue your response, but please take another look at my post and see I was comparing Russian roulette to using illicit street drugs with questionable provenance, potentially filled with fentanyl. All the while reconstituting with backwash water bottle, with dirty hands and spoon, and a used needle.

If you read any of my posts you would know that this was written without malice in an attempt to clear the air as opposed to judge.

I have a great sense of humor.. lol, it just might be reserved for other subject matter with less potential for harm.

However, when we are dealing with health issues, involving novices who potentially will make life changing decisions, based on knowledge obtained here; I feel like it is worth setting the record straight for posterity.
