I just started Selank IN earlier today. I was so used to adding BAC to everything so I inadvertently added 1ml of BAC before I realized my mistake. I added another 9ml of saline after that. A few hours later, my sinuses feel dried out from the added BAC, lesson learned! 🙄

I decided to try Selank based on research and this thread has also given me hope that it may be able to help depression, anxiety and negative thoughts brought on by recurring flashbacks as a result of childhood trauma and abuse. I guess I have something in common with @pddz9 .

I did notice I felt more mellow a couple of hours after first application. I got a little sleepy and ended up taking a much needed nap (history of insomnia). I'm hoping Selank will yield positive results.
I just recieved my NA Selank Spray i'm testing it tomorrow and will report what it did for me

2 pumps in each nostril = how many mcg?
uhm thats a good question, i have a 10ml bottle and injected 10mg NA-Selank into it, what i read is that one pump should be 100mcg

I tried with regular Selank, same dosage 2 pumps in each nostril. The first time, I felt mellow a couple of hours later. The next day I tried again and it did nothing. 🤷‍♂️

In my mix, each spray is 150 mcg. 300 mcg total and I took 4 sprays in a day. There was no doubt about it's effect in my mind. It's a lot more mellow than my 500 mcg per spray Semax. I just got my NA Semax Amidate. Looking forward to making that one in a few weeks.

The Russian studies appear to have used older test subjects and that may have something to do with the response.

Edit: fixed spray dosage

Well had to abort the ski trip to the great white north a day early due to storms. Airline canceled our flight for today so scrambled to find an alternative a day earlier. Came home to find find the shipment that SHOULD have come before the trip finally made it. I wasn’t sure Selank would have such an impact and only bought one bottle. That left me rationing by the end of the trip.

So overall it’s clear Selank has a major effect, at least for me. I had been at 900-1200mcg per day and had to drop down to 100mcg per day and had the last dose Friday. The anxiety noise had started creeping in midweek. Reconsituted as soon as the car was empty and within an hour felt like everything was back to the “new normal” I had found.

In parallel the shipment also had the Semax I as looking to add. I have had two doses so far of 200mcg each last night and this morning. As of right now I’m not seeing any impact from Semax at all. It may just be the residual mental load of the aborted trip. Flight canceled at 6:30ish and was on hold with Amex till 7:30 trying to get an alternative flight. Packed up four people and cleaned the condo. In bed by 9, up at 4am for 90 min drive in -22 weather to make the airport in time. Hoping once things normalize I’ll see something from it….. but as of now nadda.

General question to all on this thread. I’ve been clearing my sinuses and nose with an allergy spray when needed. I don’t think a spray is effective without airflow. What do you think? I’m 3 days in on AM Semax and PM Selank. Subtle effects so far. If anything a bit of fatigue from Semax.

Definitely want to blow your nose. Due to allergies and snoring I got used to using an electric neti to keep it all cleared out and I've just stuck with that before bed.

I think you're right. No airflow and it won't be effective. I use saline spray daily and Astepro nasal spray if I'm clogged. Astepro is Azelastine which is way better than Afrin (et al) because it has no rebound effect. I used to get it as a prescription. You can use it daily with no issues. A recent study also showed it protects against Corona viri for up to 3 hours.

The correct technique also helps. I learned this from my ENT because I used to get yearly sinus infections. Tip your head slightly forward, insert the spray top at a slight angle away from your nasal mid line. I point the tip towards the outside of my eye, comfortably. No torque is necessary and sometimes your opposite hand works better. This reduces any dripping which is, of course, wasted peptide and maximizes the surface area.

You need good air flow, and clear surface area, without debris on the nasal membranes, to absorb the spray. So make sure to clean out all those bogies! 🤧

UPDATE

That's what I get. It's subtle, but it's definitely there. I like it.

I'm tr,ing different things right now, i started with methylene blue 3 weeks ago but stopped taking it because my right eye started twitching, and it still does i don't know if its the mb i'm taking magnesium for the last three days and its getting better could be an magnesium defficiency, i'm going to take my selank for this week, but i'm going to take it in the morning i will keep you updated

So started today around 0.4mg each for semax and selank. Hard to describe the feeling as it is subtle. But within a hour I felt pretty calm and less of the mind racing i normally get. Quite calming but could be placebo. Will test over the next couple of weeks.

So now that I'm fully recovered from vacation we are back to reserach.

Selank 3 x 400mcg per day and full effect back in place.

Semax 2 x 200mcg per day and so far no noticeable impact at all.

I have the NA versions on the way for the next round.

What time are scheduling them? Semax in the morning and Selank in the afternoon? I didn't use them together and felt both, everyone is different.
