When you are in Exodus and looking at USDC (USD Coin) The first attachment EX1 shows you USDC. WARNING!!!! Take a closer look under the coin logo.

See where it says Ethereum?

That's USDC on the eth network, you're going to want to change it to Solana. See Attachment 2 (EX2) You should get a drop down menu where you see all the different networks USDC is on.

Change it to Solana. Finally, your screen should look like attachment 3 (EX3) USDC logo Solana network underneath

Click send paste the vendors address and how much you want to send. IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO SEND A TEST TRANSACTION OF $1 AND VERIFY THE SENDER GOT IT. Once verified send the rest.

Click Receive and that is YOUR address. If you're sending USDC on Solana from an exchange that is the address you want to send to. AGAIN IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO SEND A TEST TRANSACTION.

Buy BTC, send BTC, eliminates 90% of the hassle.

BTC is a good way too and you don't need to convert or be scared of using the wrong network. The only issue with BTC is it takes longer to send and is more expensive depending on network congestion.

Wanted to update for anyone still dealing with hold times, as I am lol. I've been testing a couple different strategies just to see what was fastest and easiest. The one that went through fastest for me just today requires a trusted friend, but it did work. I asked a friend of mine who has PayPal if I could Venmo him some $ and have him send it back to me in PayPal. He did, and that avoided any bank delays from me depositing directly to PayPal. My PayPal is linked to Coinbase and I used my PayPal balance to buy BTC in Coinbase, under my limit of $1000. I used my PayPal balance so this went through right away. From there I was able to transfer the BTC from Coinbase to TrustWallet, so while it's limited to $1000, doing this still got the $ from my bank account turned into crypto in my warm wallet within the same day.

When I tried to link my debit card through Apple Pay for purchases KYC crap kicked in so I stopped and decided to go through PP.

Deposited cash in PP account but to actually buy bitcoin I had to give them my SS# which super annoyed me but I said screw it.

Finally purchased bitcoin but when I went to transfer to my Exodus wallet I got stopped cold by PP who wanted me to verify my ID with Gov. ID and using facial recognition? This is such BS, I only purchased a small amount and was sending an even smaller amount as a test.

I figured this wouldn't happen as I had my PP account for way over 10 years.

How does jumping through all these ridiculous convoluted hoops make any sense just to use crypto for purchases?

I just used venmo to order through exodus. PayPal and debit both declined for some reason. But venmo linked to checking account was painless.

Latest Update: Sucess Finally!

After not wanting in any way to give PP my Gov. ID and go through facial recognition, I decided to try the Apple Pay option using my debit card on Exodus Wallet's XO Pay. They only asked for my SS# nothing else besides normal name, address stuff etc.

The small test purchase was immediately approved and zero issues with my bank as well. So hopefully this is the way forward except for bitcoin dropping like a rock today so luckily it was only a small amount. Now the wait for China to wake up so I can finally place my order.

Thanks to this Forum and all the great advice which defiantly motivated me into getting this accomplished.

I'm on iOS but XO pay is owned by Exodus so I don't see why it won't be available on android? Maybe you haven't updated app recently?

XO Pay through Exodus is working great but pretty high fee to use, I believe it's like 4%. Any recommendations on going with coinbase or similar to avoid fees?

Pick your coin e.g. USDC

Click Receive.

Copy the long address it gives you / You can also scan it with the crypto.com app.

Open Crypto.com

go to your coin USDC and click send.

Paste the address you copied from Exodus. Check first 4 and last 4 digits.

Send...

i tried this and crypto.com ask for a 2FA code from exodus wallet that doesnt use 2fa. this is frustrating. i have exodus and crypto.com.

Exodus doesn't have 2fa as far as I know

FOr 2fa they either sent you a txt or email (check spam) you can also set up an authenticator with Google or Microsoft that adds a layer of protection.

It's a layer of protection so people can't drain your account if they get access

i was able to finally get the 2fa done with authenticator. the issue was that crypto.com wanted a 2fa and exodus didnt. i just abandoned my approach with crypto.com and used moonpay with exodus. That worked fairly well. i did a test purchase just to see if i could get it working and it did.
