How much in fees would be normal to pay if I'm buying something for about $150?

I have bought from nexaph and I like the 3rd party testing that seems to get done on most of their stuff but SRY prices look good. Just wondering if they are good enough to make up for the hassle and fees of crypto.

Really depends on how you do it. I use PayPal and pyusd to an external wallet then convert over to USDT on sol. Costs a couple of bucks. Don't send to a vendor from a Paypal wallet, you risk getting it locked.

Can you share what sol is?

There is a guide floating around entitled

"USE PAYPAL/EXODUS TO OBTAIN USDT & SOL FOR VERY LITTLE FEES" it is too big to attach on this server. There is a post on it in SRYs discord "how to pay" channel.

I also buy PYUSD on Paypal but i send it to Exodus as PYUSD-SOL (no conversion needed) and keep it as such (less swaps - less fees). Most vendors if they accept SOL they will accept PYUSD-SOL since you send the PYUSD-SOL to a SOL address. Make sure you have SOL in Exodus for gas fees which are usually a few cents. If your account is fairly new with paypal, wait time for clearing deposits from bank account will be 3-4 business days. Buying with debit card should be instant. I've had a business account with Paypal for 20+ years but opened a personal one just to do crypto(now they tell me you can buy crypto with business account also). Since my account is new i can only transfer $150 worth of PYUSD to Exodus in one transaction.

omg this crypto stuff is so flippin' difficult - how are you suppose to use qr codes also if they are on your phone app to another phone app - super intimidating scary shit!

Why is there so many networks. I bought usdc base and tried to pay for my peptide order but apparently they only accept usdc solana network. Plus I can not find a single app to swap it either. It gave me some price too high impact error so I will be losing money. Then I asked for their usdt which says trx network. I mean seriously this is ridiculously over complicated. Why in the hell is their like 8 networks of usdc and usdt. And the apps all do one or the other but not both. Every app I look up doesn't show me I can buy usdc solana and wtf not? Why can't usdc just be usdc and why can I just pay with that without worrying about what underlying network without worrying about losing my money because it will be going out into flipping space and risk losing all the money. Ugh!! Hth am I going to stock up ?? I am really stressed about this! I'm afraid no one will answer this message either ?!?! 😢

I've got no answer for you, but yes I agree I get aggravated with it. Especially since some exchanges don't sell the coins on certain networks. It's seems more complicated than it needs to be.

An alternative to crypto for buying from PGB, mentioned by @nonyabizznez:

After spending an unreasonable amount of time trying to figure out crypto, I think I'll bow out for now. PGB has some good sales on Survo but figuring out all the crypto shenanigans is just beyond my ability right now.
In the PGB forum look under "US combine/ship" for people who place your order and accept more traditional payment methods. I've used "cryptoAF2017" (contact on discord). The charge was $10 ship plus $5 handling fee so my $90 worth of PGB items came to $105. If I placed that order direct with PGB $140 ($50 ship). So not only did I not have to use crypto I saved...

Damnit.. its like you are talking in another language... I need literal stp by step instructions.. lol.. I swear to god I will figuelre this shit out or die trying.. coinage wallet is a wallet right?? (Don't laugh at me)

So if I dwnld coinage wallet, can I then buy USDT?.. Then what the hell do i do with it.. how do you actually pay the company?

USDC seems more popular, which you can buy with Coinbase and then send to your Coinbase Wallet and then to the vendor:

What app to use for usdt or usdc payment ?

Apr 14, 2025

So my supplier's PayPal was shutdown. Now what app should I use for usdt or usdc? I want a quick and easy one to use

But I have not not needed to do all that yet. And I know nothing of the different networks. From Gemini:

I have found buying pyUSD on paypal easy and its free. I send that to my Exodus wallet (also free or like a few cents). Some vendors will take payment in pyUSD (like PGB) but many won't. I use the Jupiter Web3 app from within Exodus to swap my pyUSD to SOL. I have not encountered a vendor yet that does not accept payments in SOL.

The USDT/USDC confuses me because there are several different networks which are basically like different versions of USDT/USDC I am assuming its like there are different versions of a dollar (US Dollar, Australian Dollar etc) and my crypto never seems to be on the right network. To add to the confusion vendors will tell you they accept USDT and then not tell you which network.

Another method to get money into your paypal account without connecting your bank to paypal is to just withdraw cash and deposit it directly into your paypal account at Walgreen, CVS and several other retail locations. This money show up in your PP account in just a few minutes. It also doesn't record a paypal crypto transaction withdrawal in your checking account.
