That's crazy! Get on Exodus and do everything from there. It's cheaper tooPeptydes said:Thanks for the replies.
I was able to chat with a real person at crypto.com and was informed that it is a full 7 business days to wait before $ will be available to withdrawal to an external wallet. If your deposit is done on a Sunday they count Monday as day zero and then seven more business days after that. If there is a holiday that will also postpone a day. So, with weekend deposits and a holiday. It was close to two weeks before funds were available. They finally became available.
I can now adventure on to placing my first order!!!
The amount of the crypto matches the amount of the purchase. Think of it as the currency is crypto, not US$.SolidChick said:Dumb question:
So if they give you a price, you buy the currency in USD then send it. For instance, if I’m quoted $75 and I buy $75 worth of USDC crypto, it’s not the same price, it’s about $71.59.
Does it have to be $75 in usd to convert or $75 in USDC crypto?

That's crazy. I have never waited more than an hour or two and have made around a dozen purchases through crypto.com. I purchase the currency I want to use then transfer it right away. I don't know why you had to wait. Sorry for my recommendation costing you two extra weeks.Peptydes said:Thanks for the replies.

I appreciate the recommendation. Although I can purchase coin right away, they told me 7 business days wait to transfer to an external wallet.Tbagger said:That's crazy. Literally 2 hours after I posted that last night, I added $450 of BTC to my wallet via my debit card and then transferred it to my vendors wallet about an hour later. It's weird that you are getting a 7 day hold. Was it maybe a 1 time thing for your first time? The only issue I have run into is my vendors wallets being flagged as scammers and not letting me transfer. So far it's happened to both Uther and WWB.Peptydes said:I appreciate the recommendation. Since this is new territory for me, I get a little impatient. I plan to continue using Crypto.com. I’ll just transfer in $ in after each purchase to allow for it to clear for the next. No big deal.
Thanks again!

So, the 7 day hold is for instant bank transfers.Tbagger said:Literally 2 hours after I posted that last night, I added $450 of BTC to my wallet via my debit card and then transferred it to my vendors wallet about an hour later. Other forms of deposit will work but take a little more time to clear for external wallet withdrawals.BNLFL said:What if you don't have a debit card? We've never had one, and don't really want one.

You can do a bank transfer but it has a waiting period. You could always try one of the prepaid debit cards you can buy at the grocery store. I don't see why one of those wouldn't work.BNLFL said:What if you don't have a debit card? We've never had one, and don't really want one.
